Halloween never tasted as sweet as it will at Gulliver’s this autumn as the theme park company has joined forces with iconic sweet makers Swizzels.
The two family firms have teamed up to offer the world’s first Swizzels Trick Or Treat Trail at all three Gulliver’s theme parks in Warrington, Matlock Bath and Milton Keynes throughout October half term through to Halloween weekend.
The Trail promises to be full of scary surprises, with children who dare to enter set to face multiple spooky challenges to earn their sweet treats at various different themed stations. Families are encouraged to dress up in their ghoulish get-ups to be in with a chance of winning one of the best dressed prizes that will be on offer.
Derbyshire based sweet makers Swizzels are set to transport a mammoth 80,000 of their famous family favourite sweets to Gulliver’s three theme park locations for the much-anticipated Trick & Treat Trail.
Children will be challenged to participate in a variety of Halloween themed games, including playing the Monster Mash to win a Drumstick lolly and mixing a secret Rainbow Drops potion with Gulliver’s witches to win a surprise Swizzels treat.
Trick or Treaters will be able to enjoy plenty of haunted Gulliver’s rides and attractions in addition to the extra fun of the Swizzels Trail – and parents can enjoy letting their little ones experience all the fun of Halloween in a safe environment.

We do different age appropriate things each year. We never go trick or treating, but one year we did let the kids knock on people’s houses but we had a bowl with a toilet training potty seat (new and unused) covered with a black bin bag to make it Halloweeny .. and we filled it with cold spaghetti but lots of sweets.. buried underneat.. so when we knocked on peoples doors, we asked them to choose a treat! The kids loved this and so did the neighbours! This year we will probably have a party and play traditional games!
