Yesterday I discovered Chocolate & Ginger on facebook and just had to feature them on my blog! Emily lives in deepest rural Suffolk & is expecting her third child and has started to make these gorgeous bears for people out of their favourite babies clothes as a keepsake! I absolutely love this idea and although I have seen them made before I adore the way Emily does them and the little details she includes!
Emily aims to have bears made and sent back to you within a week of receiving the clothes parcel that you send her! Obviously at busier times this will be longer but Emily will inform you of the wait times when you order 🙂
Each bear costs just £22 and you can pay an extra £3 to have your child’s name & date of birth hand embroided onto it! P&P is £4.00 as all bears are sent out special delivery! Emily also sells Gift Vouchers for the bears I think they would make an ideal new baby gift or babies first birthday, Christmas etc!
To order a bear you can email Emily at chocolateandginger@hotmail.co.uk or follow her on facebook https://www.facebook.com/Chocolateandginger to keep up with her news. 🙂
Emily is very generously giving one of her hand made bears away to one of my very lucky readers! How awesome is that? Just fill in the Rafflecopter below to enter and Good Luck!! (I’m not jealous at all ;))

I LOVE THIS IDEA!! I have never ever come across this at all, how wonderful! I would so want one myself lol, but I would actually get one made for my sister in law, herself and my brother are foster parents, and they are taking wonderful care of a little baby boy while his mum is in hospital, she could be there days or months or years, and of course, as us mums do, she forms such wonderful bonds with the babies she takes care of. I would love for her to have one of these as a reminder of what a wonderful selfless thing she is doing, being a ‘sometimes mummy’ which is what she tells her little ones she cares for. Fabulous prize xxx

I’ll make it for my niece Lauren who was just born this April. I want it to be a bear she will be holding onto throughout childhood like how I still kept my first bear and I’m 23. It’s so super cute she has no reason to not keep it!
For my daughter I would to make use of some of the most gorgeous baby suits she got given which are currently in a keepsake box in a draw.

I’d make it for my VERY brave little boy Seth. He was diagnosed with Panhypopituitarism at birth so we spent many ‘special’ weeks in hospital – I’d like to be able to out all those memories into a special keepsake bear like this! Fab idea! 🙂

What a wonderful and beautiful idea! I’d love a bear for my daughter who absolutely adores bears.
I would either get it made for my son as he loves teddys, loves bringing them to bed.Or possibly for my friends new baby, shes due very soon 🙂
It would have to be for Grotbags 🙂 I am sure this would make her smile, they are gorgeous.
I’d need to buy one as well as win one as I would love one for each of my children. I’ve kept their first teeny tiny babygrows and vests but there are bigger ones that bring back such wonderful memories too and this would be a much more fun way of keeping them special and a wonderful story to share with the children too
Such a great idea and you are recycling old baby clothes too. I would give one to each of my nephews and use some of their favourite baby clothes that they were always put in :0)
I would give one to my newborn neice, her parents aren’t from a culture that does cute and cuddly so they are not likely to buy her anything nice.

I would have a bear made for Harry my second son.
Charles, my first son, was given lots more presents when he was born and his first christmas/birthday so I think this would be something extra special for Harry.
They’re super cute! I would get one for my daughter, i have lots of clothes in boxes under the bed, it would be a good chance to use them for something rather than gathering dust 🙂
