I was dreading taking Bugs to have his pre-school immunisations yesterday, I think what made me so nervous is that when Boo had hers she screamed for about an hour after she had them done, she was distraught and really really hurt that the nice ladies had done that to her.
Boo has always been a little bit of a drama queen and I really thought Bugs was following in her footsteps 😉
Thankfully little Bugs was a trooper and he didn’t even flinch, he was too busy watching The Octonauts that the nurse had put on for him and he was super pleased that he was getting some superhero medicine in his arms and couldn’t believe his luck when he got a certificate as well!
He didn’t stop talking about how nice the ‘doctors’ were and how he had got spiderman medicine now all the way home!
How two children can be so different I have no idea!
He is such a sweet boy, always wants hugs and just lovely to be around!
He is very lively too, always fighting pretend zombies or monsters and he thinks he is a ninja which he pronounces minja which sounds a bit like minger… I had to laugh when he told me that his nursery teacher says “I’m not a minja Mummy!” I dread to think what she thinks of our family 😉

He sounds like a great kid, and so brave at the drs, very impressive
Oh good for him, what a brave lad! or should I say brave Minja…!!! #blogclub
Aw well done Bugs and LOL at Minja! It’s so hard to explain family inside jokes to others sometimes – but it’s part of what makes being a family an exclusive little club that I personally love being a part of 🙂
Brave little boy! We have it the other way round in our household. My eldest is the most stoic little boy I’ve ever met, but his little sister screams at the slightest little thing!
He sounds like a fab little boy. The minja comment is great, bless him, that’ll be one that you’ll remind him of in years to come x #blogclub
Sounds like a great little boy…and some great medical staff! Watching TV AND getting a certificate!! No wonder he was so chuffed! Brilliant. If only all experiences were that good!
Haha! The Minja comment made me proper LOL! Bless him – what a brave boy! x
What a brave boy !! None if mine were particularly brave with their immunisations. It’s lovely that they get a certificate
Haha love the Minja comment! My eldest is a right wus about needles but youngest is a wee bit braver. Those jabs seem a long time ago for us now.
