My main concern right now is my health and fitness. Last year I lost 4.5 stone on the slimming world diet but I stopped smoking in January this year and have put quite a bit of that back on again! I have always used slimming world when I wanted to lose weight and it has always worked but I’ve decided not to do it any more because firstly I find myself eating too much because you can and secondly I want to devise my own healthy way of living so I don’t have to pay or rely on anyone else!
So today is the first day of the rest of my life! I’m not going to be weighing in weekly because I want to focus on how I’m feeling rather than the numbers! Feeling good is not a number at the end of the day it’s how you feel about yourself!
Anyway here are my statistic as of an hour ago –
Weight – 15 stone 7.5 lbs (I thought I was more than this so actually quite pleased! I’ve always been a big girl, I’m tall and am usually best around 12 stone)
Chest – 111cm
Waist – 100cm
Hips – 116cm
Thighs – 59cm
Calves – 42.5cm
Upperarm – 32cm
I will be eating healthily and exercising 3-5 times a week. I will write more about my diet & exercise at a later date – I love running but am struggling to fit that in because James doesn’t get home until 8pm most nights and he works away a lot so I can never get into a good routine with it. Today I’ve started a fitness DVD which felt really good so I’m just going to keep doing that for a while and hopefully going to get a treadmill soon too!
I’m really focused on making this work at the moment and when I’m organised and focused like this I’m fine, it’s the bad days that I lose control and when I lose control I REALLY lose control! Hopefully having this blog will keep me more focused!
This is the most recent full length photo of me that I have, although it’s probably not a true reflection of how big I actually am as I think I look slimmer here.So there we have it, you probably know more about me than anyone now 😉 I Will update my stats every month.

I’ve never had to worry to much about my weight until about 5 years ago and a couple of stone crept on without me even really noticing! I must read more blogs like yours to inspire me to deal with it x
Best of luck, I’ll be routing for you. Mich x
Ooo yes I can relate to this. I lost 3 stone last year and due to a diet of 99% blogging aka sat on my arse I have put 2 stone back on this year. It get’s a bit depressing when you find clothes getting tighter again. I blamed my new tumble drier of shrinking my clothes for a good 6 months!
I’m getting back on the healthy-ish eating and running wagon again. Well soon…. x
Ok I commented but it has gone. Ugh.
Now where to start. Firstly you are amazing. Putting your stats up. I haven’t even stood on a scales in months as I may end up slitting my wrists.
No amount me telling you this will ring true as we have to believe in side. But it’s nice to hear. I think you are beautiful. I think this picture represents you well. I shall be honest when I met you I felt so inadequate and unattractive next to you. Luckily you being awesome meant I breathed through.
You inspire me everyday. Without you and your determination I would be a wreck. I know you can be happy. The progress you have made in the past is fantastic. You have hit a bump but its just a little one. Can’t wait to support you through your journey xxx
I think you always look gorgeous sis, I look forward to seeing how you progress xx
Thanks sis xxx

Healthy eating & exercising are definitely the way to do it; I’ve been a yo-yo dieter for years until I discovered bootcamp & found out about nutrition this year.
