Monthly Weigh In

So it’s been 4 weeks since I started Finding my Inner Girl so I thought I’d have a monthly weigh in and measurement check! I’d rather do that than a weekly one as I don’t want this to be mainly about the weight loss; more about feeling bloody amazing and getting fit!

I have been eating sensibly BUT there have been lots of meals out and birthday parties this month so it has been hard! Up until this week I have worked out for 40 minutes three times a week – I am now working out five times a week at 6:15am every Mon-Fri! I feel totally amazing and would really REALLY recommend it!

Last months stats –

Weight – 15 stone 7.5 lbs

Chest – 111cm

Waist – 100cm

Hips – 116cm

Thighs – 59cm

Calves – 42.5cm

Upperarm – 32cm

This months stats –

Weight – 15 stone 3lbs – (loss of  4.5lbs!!!!)

Chest – 110cm (-1cm)

Waist – 94cm (-6cm)

Hips – 113cm (-3cm)

Thighs – 58cm (-1cm)

Calves – 41cm (-1.5cm)

Upperarm – 31cm (-1cm)

It’s not a huge weight loss but as I said before I have had an awful lot of meals out etc this month and it is weight loss all the same and given that I feel amazing it really doesn’t matter to me! I’m just going to keep on working out five times a week and eating as sensibly as I can! Six cms lost from my waist I can really feel that! My waist looks a lot more defined! Also please to see the boobage loss going slowly 😉

The new me starts right here!

My main concern right now is my health and fitness. Last year I lost 4.5 stone on the slimming world diet but I stopped smoking in January this year and have put quite a bit of that back on again! I have always used slimming world when I wanted to lose weight and it has always worked but I’ve decided not to do it any more because firstly I find myself eating too much because you can and secondly I want to devise my own healthy way of living so I don’t have to pay or rely on anyone else!

So today is the first day of the rest of my life! I’m not going to be weighing in weekly because I want to focus on how I’m feeling rather than the numbers! Feeling good is not a number at the end of the day it’s how you feel about yourself!

Anyway here are my statistic as of an hour ago –

Weight – 15 stone 7.5 lbs (I thought I was more than this so actually quite pleased! I’ve always been a big girl, I’m tall and am usually best around 12 stone)

Chest – 111cm

Waist – 100cm

Hips – 116cm

Thighs – 59cm

Calves – 42.5cm

Upperarm – 32cm

I will be eating healthily and exercising 3-5 times a week. I will write more about my diet & exercise at a later date – I love running but am struggling to fit that in because James doesn’t get home until 8pm most nights and he works away a lot so I can never get into a good routine with it. Today I’ve started a fitness DVD which felt really good so I’m just going to keep doing that for a while and hopefully going to get a treadmill soon too!

I’m really focused on making this work at the moment and when I’m organised and focused like this I’m fine, it’s the bad days that I lose control and when I lose control I REALLY lose control! Hopefully having this blog will keep me more focused!

This is the most recent full length photo of me that I have, although it’s probably not a true reflection of how big I actually am as I think I look slimmer here.

So there we have it, you probably know more about me than anyone now 😉 I Will update my stats every month.
