Snazaroo Face Painting Kit Review

Review/ Toy Review/ Toyologist/ Toysrus

You may have noticed a little badge go up on the sidebar recently to say that I’m a Toysrus Toyologist! We are very very excited by this and received our first box on Friday! The products we have been sent are fantastic and really exceeded my expectations! I wasn’t going to post them all on my blog but I have decided that I will… I’m really hoping that I will be able to help some of you out with your Christmas shopping this year! Especially if you have a little girl aged 4-6 years as that is the group we have been put into for testing 🙂

The first item that Boo wanted to try  from the first delivery was the Snazaroo Face Painting Kit. She  loves having her face painted so this didn’t surprise me; what did surprise me is that she went for the cheapest item in the box 😉

Snazaroo Face Painting Kit

The Snazaroo Face Painting Kit contains –

  • Sponge
  • Brush
  • White paint
  • Black paint
  • Pale yellow paint
  • Fuchsia pink paint
  • Metallic silver paint
  • Sparkle blue paint
  • Sparkle lilac paint
  • Step by step face painting guide

Daddy painting Boo’s face for the first time (please note he has never done this before but he is rather arty)

Our beautiful butterfly 🙂

It did take Daddy about an hour to paint Boo’s face as above but it was his first time and he is a bit of a perfectionist 😉 He really loved doing this and has already asked if I can order him a couple more sponges and brushes because he doesn’t want to mix the colours up in the tray! The paints are really great and go on really well and even better they wash off  easily too!

Bugs wanted to join in too 🙂

He didn’t sit quite as still as Boo did lol 😉

The paints are hypo allergenic and non-toxic; Bugs suffers from ezcema so I was really concerned about putting them on his face but he had them on for a couple of hours yesterday and it didn’t cause any problem at all – which I am really pleased about as he loved running round as a little puppy!

The kit comes with a  guide which gives you face painting techniques, a mixing guide and some step by step guides for different faces; we found this to be really helpful and would not have had a clue where to start without it; I would like to see more ideas for girlie faces in it though.  The Snazaroo Face Paining Kit gets a huge thumbs up from us! It is priced at just £9.99 and we will be definitely buying more Snazaroo products in future!

Ooh James did well! Maybe he could set himself up with a sideline business as a face painter 😉
