Bugs was sent this awesome Fire Blastin’ Dusty from Disney’s Planes 2! This is going to be on a lot of Christmas gift lists this year. Dusty has a 13 inch wingspan so is a really great size, it comes with three fire targets and six plastic water balls which Dusty scoops up and then shoots out. It has over 20 sounds and phrases when you pull Dusty’s handle such as “time to load up” ‘got to hit the flames” “woohoo” and is suitable for ages 4 years and over. Bugs is having so much fun with Dusty, he loves scooping up and shooting the water balls at the fire targets… or at anything lol

The RRP is £49.99 which is probable a little steep so if you look around you will be able to find it for for less. It takes 3 AG13 (LR44) button cell batteries which are included. He is a must have for any Planes fan, a great sturdy toy which will give many hours of fun!

Halloween is just around the corner and Yankee Candle have launched three new fragrances for their medium candle jars to celebrate…

Candy Corn – The familiar, sweet scent is a fond reminder of Halloween fun and treats.
Witches Brew – The spicy sweet aroma of exotic patchouli casts a captivating Halloween spell.
Ghostly Treats (New) – The scent of gooey toasted marshmallows is a haunting reminder of sharing spooky tales around a Halloween bonfire.

These gorgeous candles sell for £16.99 on the Yankee Candle website.

We were recently sent some Veronica’s Snacks to try. They have been a HUGE hit in this household. I am totally in love with the Baked Veggie Crisps in Roast Tomato & Spanish Paprika flavour and the kids LOVE the dinosaur shaped Crunchy Creatures! Not only are they all a lot less in fat than other crisps but they are also gluten free,  contain 100% natural ingredients, and have no artificial colours or flavourings. So whether you have a gluten allergy, or are trying to be healthier and avoid nasties these crisps are perfect for you! They are delicious!

Check out the awesome toothbrush that can’t fall over from The Rockabilly Kids, available in six different designs and can be bought from Boots, Ocado and many more places. It is for ages 3-7 years and costs £6.99 considering it comes with an extra 3 heads that is pretty good value as it was last for a whole year! Bugs has never been so eager to clean his teeth and has great fun trying to knock his new toothbrush over! It’s the most hygienic and fun toothbrush on the market so make sure you pick one up today!

I recently bought Bugs these amazing Maxomorra pyjamas from KyNa Boutique.  Maxomorra are absolutely gorgeous clothes, so lovely and soft. Totally worth every penny 🙂 Jenny who runs KyNa Boutique is super lovely and her customer service is amazing!

I also bought these super cool Indikidual zig zag leggings from Sidneyboo, another fab children’s wear website run by a lovely Mum in business. I’ve never bought Indikidual clothes before and I am super impressed so far 🙂

What I’ve been watching…

This month as always I have been making great use of my Netflix subscription by watching hours and hours of Gossip Girl. I am totally addicted to it! I also discovered that The Originals season 1 is now available to watch on Netflix so I cannot wait to start watching that too as I was distraught when I reached the end of The Vampore Diaries… cannot wait to start getting my vampire fix again but for now I need to finish Gossip Girl, I am half way through season 5 and then have season 6 to watch 🙂

This month we have also watched The Book Thief as my other half bought it me for my birthday. I loved the book and knew that the film wouldn’t live up to it but after hearing some negative comments from others that had read the book I wasn’t expecting great things, but I have to say that I really did enjoy it. I found myself filling in lots of what wasn’t there because I read the book but my other half said it was mundane, a bit of a none event really and he has never read the book. I guess I got more from it because I had read the book previously.

Well that’s it for this month, don’t forget to contact me soon if you have a product that you would like to see in October’s edition :)

Love those pyjamas! My boy definitely needs some of them!! You won’t be disappointed when you get to watch the Originals! I love it!

That is funny! I was sent Veronica’s snacks too…loved the dinosaur ones but nobody really liked the crisps…they are all far too uniform and ‘un-natural’ for my liking and we didn’t think much of the flavours either. Just goes to show that taste is an individual thing!
