#ReinventMemories with the HP ENVY Photo 7830 Printer

“Your hard drive is almost full!!” is a message that pops up on my laptop every single day. Last time I looked I had over 15,000 photos stored on it, far too many to go through… I’m almost sure that 14,000 of them will need to be deleted but who has the time to go through all those photos? I really should be organised when I take photos! I need to learn to delete all the ones that I don’t want on the same day I take them and my life would be so much simpler. I’d have much more storage space on my laptop too! Instagram has become our new family photo album as I always share my favourite photos on there but it’s just not the same as printing out photos and creating photo albums and scrapbooks. I used to spend so much time filling photo albums when Liam was little so I have many photo albums of him but the younger two haven’t got an album between them! I feel very sad about this but still find myself putting off the overwhelming task of going through thousands and thousands of photos.

HP got in touch recently to see if we’d like to take part in their #ReinventMemories campaign and try out their HP ENVY Photo 7830 printer to help us start creating memories again! Of course I jumped at the chance because I want the kids to be able to remember and look back fondly on all the amazing things that we get up to! While I decided I might not go back though all our thousands of photos just yet so I thought today was a good enough place as any to start…

Bonfire night is an occasion that we love as a family! Not only for the bonfire and fireworks but for the wrapping up warm, getting outdoors, visiting the fair and eating delicious foods. Bonfire night is a wonderful opportunity to get out the camera and capture some fabulous memories and take a few experimental shots too… just like the sparkler photo at the top of the page! It took me about 50 shots to get that photo 😉

The HP ENVY Photo 7830 is a wireless all-in-one printer which allows you to print, fax, scan and copy. It produces really high quality photos and we are loving the instant ink subscription which means we will never run out of ink again! Which is something I am really bad at! Instant Ink automatically delivers HP Original Ink cartridges to your doorstep when your printer is running low. You can start on the free printing plan and upgrade to a paid plan, starting at £1.99 a month, or up to just £7.99 if you’re printing over 300 pages a month. Instant Ink can save you up to 70% on ink costs annually. So it is really worth looking into! We will be using the service for the next few weeks and will let you all know exactly how we have got on with the printer and Instant Ink sometime in December.

What I love about the HP ENVY Photo 7830 printer so far is that it is so easy to to print photos from my phone using the HP Smart App, you can edit, crop, resize, change the colour & quality in the App and click on print and you’re done. You can also log in to Facebook though the App and print your Facebook photos so it is very convenient for printing all of our favourite memories!

I’ve decided that every time we go out or do something special we are going to create a least one page in our new photo album that now sits on our coffee table in the living room because it is just so wonderful to be able to have our memories right there for all to see.

I’ve been looking at these as I’ve got thousands of photos to print too and my little girl is 2 years old and doesn’t have a photo album yet! I like the sound of the instant ink, I know it’s been around for a while now I just haven’t had the chance to sort it out x

I’ve been looking at this printer so I’m watching for your second post to see if it’s as good as it sounds from this first one before I buy. Yay

Oh my goodness, I need this in my life. I love keeping photos and spend ages at Tesco printing them off haha. I want to have books for Lucas to look back on when he’s older, not loose them all when my phone breaks or I run out of storage x

This sounds brilliant. I love the idea of a monthly payment for printer ink and this sounds like a great deal for such good quality photos. x

I love that you can print photos from your phone – it makes it so much easier to get round to the task of printing images instead of leaving them all digital!

That looks like a great printer. My printer does print photo’s but they are not as good quality as I would like

Been thinking to get a new printer and this looks pretty good! I am like you and end up with lots of unnecessary photos taking up space!
