We have had a lovely half term, just a quiet week at home really as Bugs has been a bit off it so we’ve had lots of pyjama days and watched lots of movies. I am very excited as on Thursday I booked our holiday to the Dominican Republic. We don’t go until June but I just can’t contain my excitement, I think the kids are sick of hearing me go on about it! Liam is coming home on Monday so I’m really looking forward to spending some time with him too 🙂
Day 43 – Someone was tired so we were very thankful to have a week off just chill out.
Day 44 – Bugs doing a bit of colouring before bed. He had really awful asthma, he’d been up most of the previous night really struggling. He was poorly all Christmas holidays and now bloody half term! I’m so ready for summer!
Day 45 – Had to take a selfie seeing as I’d stuck a bit of make up on. I was just cooking our Valentine’s meal while James was in the shower after going for a run. I sent the kids to their rooms to read and opened the champers. We had a really lovely meal together ??
Day 46 – Bedtime was well and truly welcomed on Wednesday evening and I even opened the wine again. Bugs had to be rescued by a lifeguard at his swimming lesson. I think he had a bit of an asthma scare and started to panic. It gave me a bit of a bloody scare when I looked up to see the lifeguard diving in. Thankfully he was fine and got back in and enjoyed the rest of his lesson… in the shallow end!
Day 47 – Had a lovely walk to town with Boo on Thursday. We went round all the charity shops looking for books and enjoyed a yummy visit to Costa 🙂
Day 48 – Friday night we opened the wine and sat and watched The Martian on Now TV. WE both really enjoyed it, I just love Matt Damon.
Day 49 – Boo and I made this absolutely gorgeous Aero Bubbles rocky road on Saturday. It was really delicious.
That’s it for this week, see you next week! I love doing the photo a day project and would love to follow yours if you do it too so please leave me a comment to let me know and I’ll pop by and visit you.
