Another week has just whizzed by and I’ve just realised there are only two weeks left at school before half term!! Wow! This year is really flying by. Our holiday to the Dominican Republic is getting closer and closer and I am really excited now! The kids are really excited too! I just cannot wait to relax and not do anything for two whole weeks! It will be our first all inclusive beach holiday as a family, a first for all of us really as none of us have ever done all inclusive before… I’m trying not to get too excited just in case it is a total let down 😉
Day 127 – Boo enjoying herself at her friend’s gymnastics party. It looked like she had an amazing time and I wish I had got the chance to do a few things… especially jump in this huge pool of foam blocks 🙂
Day 128 – Bugs did his promise at Beavers last Monday so he is now officially a Beaver. He is very proud and was ever so excited to get his necker and woggle 🙂
Day 129 – Sitting down for a coffee and an episode of Masterchef. I really enjoyed watching it this year and am a bit sad now it is all finished.
Day 130 – I’m thinking of renaming bedtime to ‘piss about time’ – who’s with me?
Day 131 – I got back from my run on Thursday and this little one was all tucked up in bed waiting for me to say goodnight. I think I’ll go out for a run more in the evening so Daddy can do bedtime more often 😉
Day 132 – I felt dreadful last week. So so black so I took myself off for a soak in the tub on Friday evening for a bit of me time. Really don’t want my depression to come back… hate feeling like this. ?
Day 133 – Saturday was spent mostly in the garden as we are trying to make it a nice place. It is taking some work but we will get there eventually. Bugs loves being in the garden and especially loves blowing bubbles 🙂
That’s it for this week, see you next week! I love doing the photo a day project and would love to follow yours if you do it too so please leave me a comment to let me know and I’ll pop by and visit you.

The Dominican Republic sounds amazing, you will have a fab time. Love the bubble photo 🙂
Bubbles and Beavers looks like a pretty perfect week to me. I really want to jump in those foam blocks,
Looks like a great week. Are you all set for your holiday?
Hope you are feeling Okay? Gorgeous pictures, so full of love and warmth. I want to go to gynamstins party!
I love this project – it really tells the story of day to day life and isn’t a hassle to get done with one a day! I’m glad you got to soak in the tub, sometimes exactly what we need is time to ourself and with little ones it’s hard to get. Hugs to you.
I don’t put the kids to bed anymore but I know they play up. I will miss Masterchef too, I really enjoyed it this year.
Max comes alive at bedtime, it’s a battle I’ve pretty much given up. I absolutely love that mug, where did you get it from?
I got it from a Jamie Oliver at Home party a few years ago lovely x
Oh yes, I totally get the bedtime thing, my kids come to life when it’s bedtime and it drives me crazy. Lovely photo in the Beaver’s uniform, that takes me back. Mine gave up before they started scouts but they loved their time at Beavers (although I wasn’t keen on sewing the badges on).
I’ve been doing that today, I never bothered sewing any of Boo’s on for Rainbows or Brownies but Beavers are a bit stricter x
