I’m running really late with my project 365 this week as it is half term here and I’m just not getting anything done! It is so nice just having the kids at home this week, we are all pretty relaxed and just enjoying lots of time together.
Day 288 – She is obsessed with making slime at the moment, I think we have the perfect recipe now 🙂
Day 289 – He’s been learning about the Stone Age this half term and had to make some Stone Age jewellery for his homework.
Day 290 – Boo was in charge of the raffle at her Guides fundraising event. Her group was raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Such a good cause and a really lovely event.
Day 291 – Boo turns 11 on Thursday so I wrote her a birthday message in our notebook on Wednesday evening. We’ve been writing back and forwards to each other in this for nearly two years now and it is just wonderful to go back through. We always leave it on each others pillow when we have finished writing so the next person can take their turn. I try to do this with Bugs as well but he is far less interested. Boo loves it and so do I. I’d highly recommend it – such a wonderful keepsake for her when she is older ?
Day 292 – Happy Birthday Boo! This was Boo’s 11th Birthday photo just before we went out for birthday tea 🙂
Day 293 – I went out on Friday evening and completely forgot to do my daily photo, luckily I got home just before midnight and stumbled upstairs to take a photo of Bugs who was all snuggled up fast asleep 🙂
Day 294 – Boo had a few friends round on Saturday to help celebrate her birthday. They had such a good time making slime, apple bobbing, eating yummy food and watching a film. She was very very happy! 🙂
That’s it for this week, see you next week! I love doing the photo a day project and would love to follow yours if you do it too so please leave me a comment to let me know and I’ll pop by and visit you.

Ooh how did you get your slime so amazing?! We have tried so many times and in the end I just gave up, it doesn’t look anything like the ones on you tube!!
I just love that notebook idea, such a sweet way to communicate and a lovely keepsake to look back on. She’s lucky to have such a thoughtful Mum!
Hope the Guides did well with their fund raiser. I’m a Guiding volunteer too so I now how much hard work it can be sometime!
Ahh these are such lovely memories to look back on. Love the Stone Age necklace!
I love the idea of this project and every year I want to get involved but never get around to it – maybe next year!
Home made slime looks amazing. It’s something I’ve been meaning to make for a while, my little girl would love it.
Wow so many great projects! Love that you’re spending quality time with your kids! Looks like cool indoor projects too. Did you use borax for the slime? For us it was the only thing that worked…
Yes we used eye wash which has boric acid in it x
