As much as I love doing the project 365 I think I have come to the realisation that this will be my last year doing it. I’ve been doing it for so long now and my kids are getting a bit sick of me and my camera, so I’m going to release the pressure a bit next year and concentrate on some other photo projects instead. I’ll still be taken loads of photos but I won’t let myself feel forced into taking them like I do at the moment.
This week has been a busy one but it has been so lovely as I got to spend time with all of my kids and the rest of my family too so it’s been wonderful. I feel so much happier when I have my family around me, I don’t get to see them all that often so it makes it all the more special when we do get together.
Here is what we have been getting up to over the last week…
Day 316 – New nails day has to be my most favourite day of the month 💕
Day 317 – I had a lunch date with my oldest son Liam at Wagamamas on Tuesday. We always have such a fab time. I don’t see him that much at the moment as he is so busy with his third year at uni and I miss him so much!
Day 318 – I love to just go and lie on her bed with her and just chat about her day and what’s been happening in her life.
Day 319 – Bath time for the little dude.
Day 320 – Sometimes she just lets me take her photo and I love moments like that 🙂
Day 321 – We didn’t leave the house on Saturday. We did homework, cleaned bedrooms, had friends over, played on iPads and just chilled out and it was just so lovely. 💕
Day 322 – The light is pretty awful in this photo but it’s one of the only photos of me and my dad that I’ve had taken for ages. Went out to lunch with the family on Sunday to celebrate mum and dads 54th wedding Anniversary. Such a lovely afternoon and so nice to see everyone that came 😍
That’s all for this week. Are you doing #project365 this year? I’d love to connect if you are so please leave a comment so I can come and find you?

What a great week. I fully understand this. Hard as it is, it does get difficult each week. I will miss your posts and catching up. You have done amazing. Love those nails and great to see you out with your oldest xx
What a fab week, I love those nails, so my kind of colours. Classic but look very funky and cool too xx
even tho i can understand why it might be a bit tiring to take all those photos i just wanted to say that i really enjoyed looking at the year through your eyes x and well done for sticking with doing it
So sad you’re ending this project but so understandable. At least you’ve got so many beautiful memories to look back on over the last few years. 🙂
Oh I’m now craving a Wagamama! What a lovely photo of you and your Dad. I know what you mean about pressure of taking photos. Sometime I feel like i’m missing the moment because I am too busy taking a photo of it…
Looks like a lovely week! I love the pic of the eyes over the bath, so cool in black and white. One to keep for sure!
I too just love lying on the bed with my kids and having a chat about ANYTHING. Very precious times.
Lovely picture of you and your Dad. Your nails are amazing! Must have been nice to go out for lunch with your eldest too.
Aww it’s amazing to have done it for so long and it sounds like taking a break will help your family. You all have so many amazing memories and small moments that otherwise wouldn’t have been captured 🙂
Well done on making it this far! I’ve never lasted beyond June on any project 365 I’ve attempted. Love the bath time photo with just the eyes peeking over the bath.
