Looking at Instagram this week I think we are the only place in the UK that hasn’t had any snow! It’s always the same, it’s a miracle if it ever snows here so I am totally jealous of everyone’s snow photos right now! It could do with being a bit warmer though I have been frozen!
We didn’t get up to much this weekend as Boo has still been suffering with her foot, I took her to the hospital this morning but it turns out she has pulled a tendon and there is nothing they can do! It could take up to six months to get better… so the usually very sporty Boo is feeling a bit lost. She’s itching to get out and start her cross country and athletics training but it looks like it is going to be a while before that happens.
Here’s what we got up to last week…

Day 29 – Boo hurt her foot a few weeks ago and it has been getting worse, she had a day off last week to rest it.

Day 30 – New nails last Wednesday – I really love this ones 🙂

Day 31 – Collapsed into bed really tired. I finished #redjanuary with a 6km run on Thursday… so pleased with myself for completing. Looking forward to a rest tomorrow 😴😴

Day 32 – Woohoo #dryjanuary is well and truly over. Time for a well earned glass of wine. I wasn’t going to run on Friday after finishing #redjanuary yesterday but I just couldn’t stop myself so I popped out for a 20 minute jog! James bought me flowers and a scratch card this evening and I won £20. Happy days 😂😊😍

Day 33 – Pretty yellow tulips. My favourites. 💕

Day 34 – Snuggled up to this one trying to keep warm 😂 I’m so cold 🥶

Day 35 – Lovely lunch and drinks with my oldest yesterday. He had a day off from uni so I jumped on the train to meet him. He’s my favourite person to meet for lunch. We have such a good time.
That’s all for this week. If you are taking part in project 365 please let me know as I’d love to follow you 🙂

Oh dear your poor girl. I hope it gets better soon, so she can get out again and do what she loves. I do think a little glass of wine or amaretto is my fave. The tulips are lovely. Such a nice colour xx
Oh no poor girl. I hope it gets better soon, so she can get out again and do what she enjoys. Loving the tulips…they are all over our home too to try and cheer us up!
Aww so many happy memories! Well done for completing dry January – I have admit I didn’t even try, whoops. It’s also lovely that you met your eldest for lunch 🙂
Hope your girly gets better soon with her foot and those nails look really gorgeous.
It looks like you made the most of dry January being over! I’m not a big drinker but January is bleak enough without a gin and tonic and a glass of vino!! I love tulip season, they just never last long enough!!
