I can’t believe we are four weeks into the new year! January to me just seems to have flown by… I’m not sad about that at all. I’m totally ready for spring to come! I’ve almost completed #REDjanuary and am just so pleased to be out running again. It really does make me feel good!
I’ve been doing Dry January just to support my other half… I did say at the beginning that if I went out with friends I would still have a drink though and on Saturday night I did enjoy a few drinks with the girls which was lovely… not the banging head that came the next morning though! I really haven’t missed feeling like that so I’ve decided that I will significantly reduce the amount I drink in future.
Here’s what we got up to last week…

Day 22 – Poor daddy was exhausted after cycling for 50 miles and Bugs obviously took the opportunity to climb all over him 😉

Day 23 – I’ve been so good at getting out running every day for REDjanuary but on Wednesday I just went for a walk because my legs were killing me so I walked for 3 km and then got in the bath to try and soak away my aches and pains.

Day 24 – He said to me as he was getting into bed tonight “I like school better than home” it’s something I never thought I would hear as he has always hated going to school so it really is such a massive relief to hear him say something like that. I mean school must be pretty amazing to be better than home 😂

Day 25 – Getting ready to go out with the girls.

Day 26 – We found an amazing gin bar on Saturday night. I found a new gin that I just love… Another one to add to the wishlist. I had my first drink of alcohol of the year tonight and it was bloody delicious! haha!

Day 27 – On Sunday we went to visit my parents and decided to go out for a walk on the moor. It was bloody freezing, the wind was howling so we headed straight back to mums for a cuppa.

Day 28 – The only time he is quiet is when he has his nose in a book. He does love to read 💕
That’s all for this week. If you are taking part in project 365 please let me know as I’d love to follow you 🙂

Running every day is amazing! Where have you got the motivation from? I am struggling to hit my 2 days a week!! You sound like you had a lovely night out and I’m intrigued by the Gin bar
