#Project365 2019 – Week 1

Project 365 [2019]/ The Ordinary Moments

I moaned and moaned about doing the #project365 last year, I hated having to force myself to take a photo everyday and then it came to the first of January 2019 and I just could not start the year off without starting all over again! I’m a sucker for punishment – I really am! What really made me want to continue was looking back through all of my other 365 projects that I have done over the years… I’ve completed over ten now and the memories that I have made are just wonderful, and it is all the simple little moments that I cherish the most.

Also this year I am going to join in with The Ordinary Moments linky that Donna runs on What the Redhead said because this project is all about the ordinary moments that I capture each week… and some times the extraordinary 😉

So here we go again! These are the photos from the first week of 2019….

Day 1 – I’ve had such a battle with myself today over whether to do another #365project or not. I’ve left it until just before I got in bed on New Years Day and decided that I’m going to continue. I do this every year but I’ve been looking back over the memories I’ve created over the past 10+ years and they wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for this project and I really would miss that so no matter how mundane the photos feel at the time I take them they are always really special to look back on. I’m starting the year with a sleeping Bugs because I’ve been feeling terrible today and I’ve had nothing else to take a photo of and I know the days of me sneaking into his bedroom to take a photo will be coming to an end. Love this boy with all of my heart 💕

Day 2 – This boy really knows how to chill 😉

Day 3 – James is at work, Boo is at a friends, I’ve taken all the Christmas decorations down so Bugs and I are having a game of Game of Life. Such fun!

Day 4 – Just had a cup of coffee delivered to me in the bath after doing day 4 of #redjanuary Until the start of the year I hadn’t been out running since last April. I can’t believe I left it so long to get back out there. I’m really enjoying it at the moment. Slow and steady.

Day 5 – Snuggled up watching Jumanji with this one; avoiding going out for a run for day 5 of red January… I did go eventually 😉

Day 6 – On Sunday we spent the day making the most of our National Trust membership. First stop was Biddulph Grange Gardens and then we went to Sudbury Hall. We’ll be writing all about our day over on The Places We Will Go soon.

Day 7 – This one has gone back to school this morning. I don’t think he was too sure if he was happy or sad about it to be honest… I think a bit of both really, he’s never been a massive fan of school! Boo on the other hand couldn’t wait to get out of the door. 😉

That’s all for this week. If you are taking part in project 365 please let me know as I’d love to follow you 🙂

Yay, I am glad you decided to continue with Project 365. Such fun photos. I love Game of life as I loved it as a child. I have to say I’m not as keen on the new one, but it is fun. My little one has the younger version of it too. Hope back to school was ok xx

I would love to do the 365 project at some point but I think I’d feel like some of the photos weren’t good enough to share – but I guess that’s the point, that you’re documenting all those little moments that may get missed otherwise. I cannot wait to see where each day this year takes you x

I think the project sounds like a great idea – must be cool to look back at the end of the year! I like the look of day 4!

Ahh! Good to see you continuing Project 365.
    Fab photos!
I haven’t played the Game of Life for years. I’m sure we still have it in the cupboard.
Ohh! Lucky you getting coffee delivered to you in the bath.
I hope the return to school goes OK. My two were keen to go this morning. I think it will be a one off. x
