Perfect Books for Children Starting School…

Books/ Review

We adore books in this household and so we were very happy when Harper Collins sent us some to have a look at. These books are ideal for those of you with little ones starting school in September 🙂

Come to School Too, Blue Kangaroo.
Written & Illustrated by Emma Chicester Clark

This is a really lovely book about a little girl called Lily who starts a new school and takes along Blue Kangaroo for the adventure. They both have so much fun on their first day and can’t wait to go back again! Such a lovely little story that will help any child who may be apprehensive about starting school or even those who are not! It is full of lovely pictures that show just how much fun is to be had at school even when you are left there alone for the night 😉

Lily and Blue Kangaroo – a friendship forever! The eighth title in this hugely popular series featuring Lily and her loveable soft toy sees the inseparable duo starting at a new school with surprising results.

When Lily starts at a new school she asks Blue Kangaroo to come too. Lily thinks Blue Kangaroo is worried about going but, secretly, he can’t wait to explore and try new things – which is just as well, because the fun lasts even longer than he expected…
