Hi everyone and welcome to Ocotber’s issue of This Mummy Loves… This post is all about everything that we have been loving over the last month. It is full of products that we have been sent to try, ones that we have bought ourselves and loved so much that we just had to share them with you and it is also full of things that we have loved doing too.
If you would like to have a product featured in the next edition of This Mummy Loves… which will be a very special Christmas edition now – please send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to see if your product is suitable for us.
This is what we have been loving this month…
The Organised Mum Method
I unfortunately only discovered the organised mum method in the summer when I was sent a preview copy of her new book. My life has been in disorganised chaos for a long time now and I just could not see myself getting out of it. While I was on holiday I read this book and could not wait to get back home to start TOMM! Well what can I say my house has been transformed and it is always a pleasure to do my 30 minutes everyday and see my house becoming more and more organised each week. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you give TOMM a go too!
Shaken Udder Milkshakes
The kids have been loving trying out Shaken Udder milkshakes after we were sent some of their range to try… I have to say I kept a couple to one side for myself and I LOVED them! Especially their new Ooh La Latte one which is just delicious!
O’Keeffe’s Lip Repair Gift
I received this fab surprise gift from O’Keefe’s last week and it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time as I’ve had some terrible night’s sleep recently and my lips have really been suffering so these are amazing little treats to try and solve those problems 🙂
HARIBO Share the Scare
The lovely people at HARIBO sent us a box full of yummy treats for us to enjoy for Halloween. So you know where to come if you have some little trick or treaters. We will be handing these out to the spooky neighbourhood children next week on Halloween. It’s so great to see HARIBO and MAOAM together in the duo pack, my kids absolutely love both. No one will miss the TangfasTricks though will they because they are all mine… 😉
What I’ve been reading….
I’ve only actually sat and read one book recently and it has taken me forever but I do get through quite a few audio books nowadays, I just find it so much easier to listen to a book than to sit and find time to actually ‘read’.
The book that I did read was a beautiful story, I just loved everything about it, so much so that I have put it on my read again pile because there was so much detail that I am sure that I have missed in my tired state at bedtime. The book was called All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr and I would highly recommend that you give it a read. It has nice short chapters which just makes you want to keep on reading. The characters are wonderful. I loved everything about it!
The audio books that I have listened to are…
- In at the Deep End by Kate Davies
- The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
- The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell
- Ralph’s Party by Lisa Jewell
- Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty
The Goldfinch I bought when it was a daily offer on audible and I was lacking inspiration, it’s not normally something I would be drawn to but I am so pleased something made me click purchase on that day because I just loved it. It is apparently out on film now too so I will just have to go and watch that. What a beautiful story!
In at the Deep End wasn’t something I’d normally go for either but I found it rather naughty and really rather enjoyed it. The others are from my favourite authors Lisa Jewell and Liane Moriarty which I will regardless of the reviews because I just love their writing style. These three really didn’t let me down. So all in all a really good month of books. 🙂
What I’ve been watching…
I cancelled my Netflix account last month as I wasn’t too happy about it going up, just another price increase on the long list of price increases so I though sod it, I don’t need to watch so much bloody TV so I got rid of it. So I’ve not watched an enormous amount of TV but have been loving the new episodes of Peaky Blinders and Celebrity Masterchef. I religiously watch these with my other half, they are the only things that we will watch together as we can never agree on anything else ;D
That is all for this month, don’t forget to contact me soon if you have a product that you would like to see in my next edition!
