Here are some products that we have loved this month…
Playmobil Advent Calendar
Once again as part of the Playmobil Playologist programme we have been sent a Playmobil advent calendar! The kids absolutely loved the pirate one we were sent last year and are over the moon this year with the Christmas themed one! They cannot wait for the 1st of December to come around! Take a look at the Playmobil website for more information and to see all the other types they sell too. They sell for £18.99 and are well worth the money. We have had lots of play out of the pirate one from last year but I know of people who reuse them as advent calendar’s year after year.
Bioskin Junior, a unique, new range of products developed by British skincare company Salcura, is aimed specifically for children with eczema and severe dry skin. The range contains natural ingredients, providing an alternative tosteroidsandemollients.Itis suitable for childrenand babies aged from three months, and helps soothe infection, inflammation and tissue damage
We have been using the products above for the last weeks and we love them! They smell absolutely gorgeous and leave Bugs skin and hair smelling amazing and feeling so soft, they haven’t irritated his skin at all and his eczema hasn’t been as bad since we started using the bath milk. He loves to lie and soak in it, it doesn’t make the bath all slippery either like some products of this kind. I will most definitely buy both of these again!
The Bath Milk’s RRP is £7.99 for 300ml and the shampoo is £6.99 for 200ml. There is also face & body wash, outbreak rescue cream and a daily nourishing spray in the range. I will probably try them all, I especially like the idea of the daily nourishing spray as it’s often quicker and easier to use with little ones. You can see and buy the whole range from https://www.salcuraskincare.com/bioskinjunior/
The Harvest Yankee Candle is an autumn classic. The rich hues of the harvest – with golden spices softened and smoothed by the addition of sweet autumn fruits and musk – come together in an inviting blend. Cinnamon, cloves and musk, with a hint of sweet apples and pumpkin, make for a recipe that makes any home instantly cosy and welcoming. Priced at £19.99 on the Yankee Candle website. This is a really gorgeous smelling candle!
Udi’s Gluten Free
We were sent this amazing breakfast hamper from Udi’s Guten Free a few weeks ago and we have been really enjoying their products. The bagels are delicious, I had never actually had gluten free bagels before and I loved them, especially the multi seeded ones. Udi’s have a wide range of gluten free products like bagels, crisps, granola, bread & rolls and much more! If you eat a gluten free diet then you must check out their products. They have a fantastic website with lots of gluten free recipes too! Gluten Free really doesn’t need to be boring!
We were sent some McCain vouchers so I headed off to Asda and was pleasantly surprised at their range! Chips, Home Chips, Wedges, French Fries, Hash Browns, Jacket Potatoes, Micro Chips! What’s not to love! McCain certainly are a busy Mums best friend! Fantastic to have in the freezer for when time is limited!
The kids love the French Fries and I’m rather partial to their Mexican Wedges… perfect with a hot chilli on a chilly autumn day 🙂
Chip Chip Hooray!!!

These Nairn’s Astro Bites are so yummy! The kids LOVED them and so did I! They will definitely be on my shopping list frequently!
With 40% less sugar than other children’s biscuits, these bite-sized wholegrain and wheat-free Astro Bites are a delicious, healthy and convenient break-time snack for children. They come in a delicious Berry Blast flavour that can satisfy a sweet tooth without being packed full of sugar and other nasties. Read with Biff, Chip and Kipper
Boo adored learning to read with Biff, Chip and Kipper so we were overjoyed to be given the chance to take a look at the learn to read with Biff, Chip and Kipper app. The app offers levels 1-3 and contains 8 books from each level. Bugs loves these books and reads them over and over again, he loves that he can choose to read them himself or have them read to him.

There is also a special discounted price in place for a limited time, offering levels 1-3 for just £4.99, which is an absolute bargain considering you get 24 books with that.
The apps are available for iPhone and iPad from the App Store , Android from Google Play and the Windows Store.
We LOVE Swizzels sweets! There is not a lot more I can say really, I grew living up near the factory and I personally am and always have been addicted to Rainbow Drops, Refreshers and Double Mix lollies! They are the perfect fun size treat to keep in the house and Trick or Treaters will love us on Halloween with all these goodies 🙂

I have been using Aveeno products for a good couple of years now, I swear by them! My skin is terribly dry and I suffer from eczema as does little Bugs. We always use the Aveeno oil in the bath or shower and cover ourselves in the lotion to cream depending on which we have in the house. It makes our skin feel wonderful!
Aveeno have just launched their very first book that follows the adventures of Ellie & Eddie. The books are aimed at helping parents and children manage and address the difficulties of having dry, eczema prone skin. I have needed this book in my life for a while now as Bugs hates his skin and hates having to have his creams put on even more! Head over to the Aveeno website to find out more about Aveeno products as well as Ellie & Eddie.
Well that’s all for this October, don’t forget to contact me soon if you have a product that you would like to see in November’s edition; November and December are very busy months so I need all products sent in ASAP if you would like them featured before Christmas 🙂
