NO-AD Suncare Review

Review

A few weeks ago we were sent some NO-AD sun-creams to try; I’d never actually heard of this brand before they approached me and I am always on the look out for things that Bugs can use on his skin with him having eczema.

NO-AD® Suncare was introduced in 1962 with the concept of providing consumers with quality suncare products that are twice the size as national brands for the same price – all with “no TV ads”, no hype and no gimmicks. NO-AD has also been named a “Best Buy” by the USA’s leading consumer publication four years in a row (2009-2012).

We were sent NO-AD Splash SPF 30 and NO-AD Kids SPF 30, they both come in 100ml tubes. We haven’t had any tremendously hot days to try them out but we have been using them whenever we have been outdoors, We all have pretty sensitive skin and non of us have had any kind of reaction to the creams, Bugs’s eczema has not got any worse and nobody has suffered any sunburn! So we are incredibly happy with these sun-creams and I shall be looking out for them when I next need to buy some! I don’t like strong smelling creams and these are great because they virtually have no fragrance whatsoever! They are a lovely consistency, son’t take to long to rub in and leave your skin feeling lovely and soft.

I had a quick look online for the NO-AD products as I wasn’t sure of the prices. I found them in stock at The Suncare Shop and they cost  £4.49 each with free delivery – I think these are very reasonably priced sun care products and will definitely be using them in future!

NO AD make a wide range of sun care products for babies & kids, sport, general, tanning and after sun. Check out their website for more information or catch them on Twitter or Facebook.

I didn’t know No-Ad were still going! I heard of them in the late 80’s/early 90’s, and I’ve seen occasional bottles on my travels, usually very dusty & looking like they’ve been in the back of the shop for 20 years!

100ml bottles & tubes are so useful when you’re travelling, because you can still have them in your handluggage, a few more companies should consider that. Will be keeping my eyes open now.

I took No Ad suncream to Mexico years ago, it was better than the named brand some others were using
