These last two weeks have been crazy busy and I have barely taken any photos for my happy days project. We are trying to get our house ready to put on the market so it has been clean, clean clean! We have had it valued now we just need to make the call to say yes we do want to put it on the market! Decisions Decisions! I’ve enjoyed lunch with my youngest at school on Thursday… pudding was syrup sponge and custard – so delicious!

Thursday 13th June – I spent the whole week cleaning the house ready for the Estate Agents to come round for a valuation so once I was done I treated myself to a coffee at my new favourite cafe.

Friday 14th June – Liam came home for a few days so we headed into town for some lunch and a cheeky drink too. I love having an adult son who I can take out for lunch, it’s so lovely to chat about what he has been up to.

Saturday 15th June – Liam and I headed to the Gin & Run Festival in Nottingham for the afternoon, we had a brilliant day and tried lots of lovely new gins. Then we went out for a meal and some more drinks. 🙂

Monday 17th June – I took myself off for my nail appointment. I find it so hard each time to choose a colour but I really love this new colour ‘blue steel’ from The Gel Bottle’s summer collection 🙂

Friday 21st June – James took the day off and we went exploring. We headed for Cromford in Derbyshire and took a look round the mills and then walked from Cromford to Whatstandwell along the canal. It was a beautiful day and just so nice to be out enjoying each others company while the kids were at school 🙂
That’s all I’ve got for today 🙂 I hope you all have an amazing weekend.

Your nails look amazing. The colour blue steel is gorgeous.
I am loving the blue steel nails! I am so glad that you got to get out exploring after a busy week!
Ooooh, pretty nails! I don’t envy you one bit re. the house. I don’t think I could cope with moving house with my little monkeys. It’s so lovely that you’ve had your eldest son around 🙂
Gin is not a big drink in France which is a real pity as I love it – whisky on the other had is huge with so many varieties available but I don’t like it. Oh well – I’ll have to stick with wine then!!
Sounds like you’ve had a busy week! I remember the days of endlessly cleaning for the estate agent viewings, used to drive me mad keeping everything super clean the entire time lol
Love that you can go for a drink with your eldest, that is so lovely. Plus I am totally loving the colour of your nails!
I love that you so happy days! I do as well and have toyed with the idea of doing weekly round ups on my blog. I do a monthly round up but think I may run with this next year.
I have been doing the happy day project since 2014 I think.
I hope it brings you as much joy as it brings me 💕
