My Happy Days [5th-19th July 2019]

My Happy Days/ personal

Woohoo! That’s it! School is out for summer! How exciting is that! Six weeks of fun to be had! We haven’t got a massive amount of stuff planned for the holidays but we do go on holiday for two weeks so we are all really looking forward to that especially as Liam (my eldest) will be joining us for one week. He’s not been on holiday with us for a long time so the kids are really excited about that. Anyway I’ll be telling you all about that soon but for now this is what has been making me happy over the last couple of weeks…

Gorgeous roses from James. I love this colour combination. So pretty.

New nails again. After having such bright colours I needed something natural for a while but had to have a bit of sparkle too πŸ˜‰

I looked after my friend’s boys for a couple of hours after school last week and as it was such a nice day we just went to the park. I sat on a bench and they just played football. It was really lovely. I need to do that more often!

James and I had a date night last Friday, we actually took the whole day to explore some National Trust properties and then went out for a meal and some drinks. It was a perfect day! Very much needed us time πŸ™‚

We went to see my parents last week and went out for a walk with mum. Love this photo of me, Boo and mum that James took πŸ™‚ Mum can’t walk very far anymore as she has problems with her legs so it was lovely for her to join us.

James, Boo, Bugs and Mum. It took a lot of photos to get this and it’s not perfect! Bugs was in such a silly mood as per usual! πŸ˜‰

Bugs made sure he took his wellies so he could go in the river looking for fish. We used to do this all the time when we were little. Such happy memories.

I couldn’t resist taking this photo of this gorgeous little path. I do love going back to the village where I grew up. It is such a pretty little place that I never really appreciated until I left.

Just completed his last day in year 4! I can’t believe he will be in year 5 when they go back! Time has really flown by. He will be 9 in two weeks and that means this blog will also be 9! Wow what an amazing journey it has been πŸ™‚

That’s all for today! I hope you have a great weekend and an amazing, relaxing and fun summer holidays xx

Your nails really look lovely. I miss having mine done regularly but I don’t think I could cope with having them longer now.
