My Happy Days – 25th May-7th June 2019

My Happy Days/ personal

My happy days feature seems to have gone from a weekly post to fortnightly and I’ve not been great at taking photos everyday either but I’m still loving doing it, some days I just really don’t have anything to take photos of. The kids really don’t want to have their photos taken anymore it was so easy when they were little… they really didn’t have a choice 😉

Anyway this is what has been making me happy over the past couple of weeks 🙂

Saturday 25th May – I was feeling rather nostalgic after getting some grief from Boo, she’s almost 13 now and so full of hormones! Some days it’s hard to deal with and I was longing for the days she’d just snuggle up in my arms and all asleep.

Tuesday 28th May – Went to get my nails and toes done, such a lovely treat. I then took Bugs to the park and fell and hurt my arm. It’s still not completely better but I did have it x-rayed and it isn’t broken thankfully.

Wednesday 29th May – I love garden roses. They are beautiful and smell amazing. This rose bush is just down the road from me and I take a photo every year. I’m pleased to see it has lots more buds on this year. 💕

Friday 30th May – Had a fab day at The Roaches today with this one and the kids. I did find it rather difficult climbing the rocks with just one arm though 😂

Saturday 1st June – I bought these stunning peonies from Waitrose on Saturday. They are absolutely gorgeous. I think peonies are my new favourite flower.

Sunday 2nd June – A rather wet and soggy cycle in the park this afternoon. A bit of water didn’t bother this one 😂

Monday 3rd June – Gin and Good Girls. Happy days 💕

Tuesday 4th June – I felt dreadful on Tuesday evening so a hot deep bath it was. I love a nice hot bath, so totally relaxing 🙂

Thursday 6th June – My little poser. He’s went for a hair cut today so wanted to show it off 💕

Friday 7th June – I spent the day running around to various appointments for the kids. Boo went to see the orthodontist and found out she does need to have braces which she is eligible for under the NHS but has to wait 12-18 months now for her appointment. I collapsed on the sofa at 9pm with a glass of wine and snuggles up and watched a film with my OH. Not sure how I managed to stay awake though!

That’s it for this week, I hope you all have an amazing weekend 🙂
