My Happy Days [22nd Mar-4th Apr 2021]

My Happy Days/ personal

I missed quite a few days from My Happy Days project over the last week so decided I would just do a bumper post to catch up from the last two weeks. Life has been hectic but so good… I got to see my Mum and Dad at the weekend and caught up with my oldest son Liam last week too. It’s been wonderful to see people again. This week I’ve got a cocktail night in a friend’s garden which will be awesome, I can’t wait to see my favourite girls again!

Monday 22nd March – This one was feeling a bit crappy so we snuggled up together to watch Moana. Which we both loved I cannot wait to watch it again… such a wonderful story! I was trying to make him laugh here with silly faces 🙂

Tuesday 23rd March – Sitting down to watch a bit of Poldark with my favourite snack… apple slices and peanut butter, yum!

Wednesday 24th March – I put a bit of make-up on for the first time in forever as I had a zoom meeting with the charity that I volunteer for. I really cannot wait to get back to my volunteer role after Easter! So exciting!

Thursday 25th March – I love getting a bunch of daffs on my grocery delivery every week. They really do make me smile; I’ll be sad when they are no longer in season. Definitely looking forward to peony season though 🙂

Tuesday 30th March – I finally got to go and see my oldest son Liam on Tuesday after four long months! We went for a lovely long walk together with his doggy Nutmeg. It was amazing to see him and I can’t wait until the beer gardens open so we can have lunch together really soon 🙂

Wednesday 31st March – I had an Interview on Wednesday for the first time in many many years and was offered the role there and then. I’m not sure if it is something I will take or not yet but it sure gave me a huge confidence boost.

Thursday 1st April – More Daffs 🙂

Friday 2nd April – Breakfast in bed on Good Friday thanks to my other half… he’s not a bad egg 😉

Sunday 4th April – These two loved their Easter Egg hunt on Sunday, it just goes to show you are never too old to hunt for chocolate. We had a lovely relaxed Easter, once the chocolate had been found it was just a lazy day and a roast dinner.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend.
