My Happy Days [22nd June-5th July 2019]

My Happy Days/ personal

Wow how fast has this year gone so far!! I can’t believe July is here already and the kids only have two weeks left before they break up for summer now! July is always busy with lots of end of term events but this year with Boo at Secondary school I don’t seem to have quite as many things to go to. I’m really looking forward to them breaking up and having a few lazy days 🙂

Wednesday 26th June – We’ve been playing Jenga a lot recently… I’ve removed screens from the house after 6pm and even though there was some arguments about it at first especially from the 12 year old; life really has been so much better for it! We have spent so much more time together playing and chatting.

Friday 28th June – Bugs had an inset day so Daddy took the day off and we all went to see Toy Story 4, which we absolutely loved!! Then we had Five Guys for lunch and then spent the afternoon at a country park. It was just lovely!

Saturday 29th June – Saturday was the hottest day of the year so far so it called for nothing more than sprinkle fun in the garden. This one had so much fun 🙂

Sunday 30th June – We spent the day at Calke Abbey exploring the beautiful gardens… we obviously could not leave without treating ourselves to a cream tea – So yummy!

Wednesday 3rd July – This one took part in his first musical soirée on Wednesday evening. He started playing the piano in September and loves it. He was so nervous but thankfully he was first so he didn’t have to worry for too long. He played beautifully. So proud!

As the kids get older I am finding it more and more difficult to get them in the photo, Boo especially hates having her photo taken and will not let me share them online anymore so I find that I have less and less to share each week. I’m going to try and get better at this and really trying to capture a happy moment every single day for the next week 🙂

That’s all for today. I hope you all have a fab weekend x
