This Mummy Loves.../ TML Monthly

Welcome to May’s issue of This Mummy Loves… The products that we feature here are ones that we have been sent to try out over the last couple of months or ones we have bought ourselves and loved so much that we just had to share them with you 🙂

If you would like to have a product featured in the next edition of This Mummy Loves… please send me an email to to see if your product is suitable.

Here are some products that we have loved this month…

A Year of Forest School is being released on the 17th May and we were lucky enough to have a sneak preview. This brilliant book is packed full of forest school games and activities structured around the seasons of the year which are suitable from pre-school to 12 years. If you are looking to get some ideas for outdoor activities then this is a fantastic book that covers everything from making nettle soup to peg carving.

Footer Exfoliating Socks are just what you need to get your feet summer ready! All you need to do is wear these for 60 minutes, then for a week or so your feet will peel like mad (mine did) and you’ll be left with beautifully soft feet! A month later mine are still lovely and soft so they worked brilliantly!

The English Provender Co. sent us some of their delicious pickles & chutneys to try and we love them. I was already addicted to their caramelised red onion chutney so was very happy to be able to get to try these, I always love to add a bit of something to my sandwiches and salads to make it a bit more interesting. I’ve been trying to get my son to eat different things for years and he really struggles but I tried him with this recipe that The English Provender Co. sent us and he loves it, so much so that he takes them for school lunches most days now…

2 large tortilla wraps, about 26 cm diameter

50g baby spinach leaves

6 thin slices ham

100g grated mature Cheddar cheese

4 tablespoons English Provender Finely Chopped Pickle

  1. Spread the base of one of the wraps with 1 tablespoon of the pickle, arrange half the spinach leaves over the top.
  2. Arrange 3 slices of ham over the spinach to cover, then spread with another tablespoon of the pickle. Sprinkle over half the grated cheese.
  3. Tightly roll up, ending with the seam underneath. Trim the ends of the wrap, then slices into 8 x 2 cm widths.
  4. Repeat with the remaining wrap and ingredients.

Boka has just launched the first (in Europe) all green traffic lights snack bar low in sugar, salt, fat AND saturates! Ideal for popping in children’s lunch boxes every day and for a healthy snack option for parents too! They are available in four delicious flavours Apple & Cinnamon, Caramel, Strawberry and Choco Mallow! You can picked them up online or in Sainsbury’s for 75p for a single bar or £2.50 for a multipack.

NOW TV  spotted me tweeting about how sad I was that Grey’s Anatomy wouldn’t be shown on Amazon anymore from the end of April so to cheer me up they sent me these goodies and a three month pass to their entertainment package so that I could continue my Grey’s addiction… I wonder if I can squeeze all 14 seasons into those three months 😉
