Here are some products that we have loved this month…
Bahlsen – Choco Leibniz
My kids loved me when this parcel arrived. They love Bahlsen biscuits but had never tried a few of these flavours. Their absolutely favourite are the white chocolate cocoa biscuit ones and I had to sneak the pack of caramel ones and hide them so I could have them all 😉 Oh my goodness they are amazing! I also LOVED the orange ones. We’ve been picking these up recently for £1 a pack at our local Co-op for a weekend treat. You can buy them in lots of stores but check out the where to buy section on their website to find out who stocks which variety.
Bahlsen – Pick Up
Pick up! are made by Bahlsen as well and are just as good as the classic biscuits! The kids loved them all because well they are chocolate and biscuit but the choco & caramel for me are by far the best! Individually wrapped so perfect for picnics and lunch boxes. Asda sell the whole range apparently 🙂
Tyrrell’s Coronation Chicken
As the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations get underway, Tyrrells, the premium hand-cooked English crisp company, is rolling out a Coronation Chicken flavoured summer seasonal in honour of Her Majesty’s magnificent milestone. I absolutely love chicken flavour crisps, I hadn’t had them for so long so was rather pleased when I got these through the post. They are delicious!!!
Coronation Chicken is an iconic British flavour, based on the delicious pairing of roast chicken and mild curry. The dish was originally created especially for the Queen’s coronation in 1953, and now Tyrrells is bringing it back for a limited time only, using real chicken and curry flavours for a fruity, fresh and fragrant combination. The perfect addition to street party spreads and picnics, especially around the Queen’s 90th birthday, Coronation Chicken crisps will be available from April through to October.
Coronation Chicken is available from Waitrose and Ocado with an RRP of £2.00 for 150g sharing bag and £0.75 for 40g on the go pack so make sure you snap some up while you can 🙂
You probably all know that I like a nice glass of wine. I am personally a white drinker and my other half a red drinker. I don’t drink red at all so I had to get the Mr to try the Malbec for me… he also shared the Chardonnay with me much to my displeasure 😉 I have had the Chardonnay before and it is really lovely, if you are looking for a nice white wine then I would highly recommend it.
Barefoot have just launched this Malbec… apparently it has big juicy flavors of blackberry and currant set sail on a gorgeous gust of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. Sounds amazing doesn’t it. It didn’t last very long here so that’s a great sign 😉 It goes great with barbequed steak, pulled pork or caramelised-onion pizza so perfect for long lazy summer days eating Al Fresco.
Yumcha Iced Tea
My other half didn’t even let me get around to take photos before he had opened these… he absolutely LOVES iced tea so as soon as he saw them he had the Lemon Ceylon one open! Yum Cha have just launched their cordial style iced teas using only natural ingredients and we can confirm that they are delicious, refreshing and so convenient too!
They are available in seven different flavours… Earl grey, Elderflower, Jasmine, Lemon Ceylon, Moroccan Mint, Nettle and Sour Plum. They are priced at £3.95 each and are available from delis, farm shops and Amazon.
Well that’s all for this month, don’t forget to contact me soon if you have a product that you would like to see in my June edition!
