#LittleLoves – Small Great Things, Friends and Crochet

I love the #LittleLoves linky and really do not join in enough. I started last year and promised myself I would do it more but I think I only managed to join in twice for the whole of 2017! I am a such a terrible blogger! So this year I am going to aim to at least beat that… I’d love to say I’ll join in every week but as I said I am a terrible blogger. 😉

I am currently reading Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult which Liam bought me for Christmas. I love how Jodi Picoult is so thought provoking in her writing. I’m only a few chapters into this and it has made me quite uncomfortable at times but I know she will have me questioning myself a few times before I finish.

I’ve been watching Friends on Netflix for the past few weeks, I was so excited to see it on there! I just love friends! I remember being pregnant with Liam 21 years ago and sitting in my bed on a Friday evening watching it on Channel 4!

I love listening to The Most Beautiful Songs in the World playlist on Spotify, it has some absolutely beautiful songs on and they are just so easy to work along to. I always have it on when I’m working or in an evening when I am lay in bed reading. I always change it to my waves playlist for sleep though as we find they really help us relax and fall asleep.

At the beginning of the week I taught myself to crochet and made a scarf for Boo as my very first project. I have been wanting to learn to crochet and knit for such a long time so I am so proud of myself for actually doing it! I never thought I would be able to as I remember my mum trying to teach me to knit when I was little and I just didn’t have a clue. So now I am very excited and trying to decide what to make next. I’d love to hear about any projects that you have done either knitting or crochet 🙂

I can’t live without my Antarctic Extreme Womens Down Jacket that I reviewed a few years ago at the moment. It is the warmest coat I have ever owned and I love it! I can go out in freezing temperatures and not feel the cold at all. Living in an old victorian house sometimes I just put it on and go out to warm up. Seriously if you need a winter coat then I could not recommend these highly enough.

and Lastly…

I’m really looking forward to Liam coming home today, I’ve not seen him yet this year so I’m taking him out for a meal and a few gins this evening! I really can’t wait as I miss him so much.

I’m also wanting to book our holiday for this year soon so if you have any amazing recommendations please leave them in the comments 🙂

Well done on the crochet, I get myself into such a muddle when I try. Friends, what a classic, need to re-watch these myself. Small Great Things is a really good novel! #littleloves

I’m so impressed with your crochet scarf, how amazing to be able to create that in a week. I find it so fiddly and need more patience with things like that! Hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂

I remember my nan trying to teach me to knit when I was about 10, I was useless at it but loved watching her knitting needles clicking together. You’ve done a great job with the scarf ! That coat is lovely. Have a great weekend x #LittleLoves
