Kit Heath Kids Jewellery Review

Review

I recently responded to Kit Heath on twitter as they were looking for teenagers to review some of their jewellery, so I told them I had a 15 year old son and they sent him a piece of their fabulous jewellery to review. I have to say I do love Kit Heath Jewellery; I was lucky enough to win a £50 voucher to their website a while back and I bought Boo the most beautiful necklace. Anyway on to the review…

The first thing that really pleases me about Kit Heath is their beautiful packaging! I’m not sure if this packaging is just for the kids range but it is absolutely beautiful! It has quality written all over it and I would be so happy to gift it to someone!

Lero was sent the Sterling Silver Nautical Trio Necklace and to be honest when I saw it I really didn’t think he was going to like it, but Mother couldn’t have been more wrong! He really loves it! I gave it him three days ago and he hasn’t taken it off since. Now Lero is a big boy; aged 15 and 6 foot something and the chain length is 14 ” + 2″ extender and I do feel this is a little on the short side for Lero but the jewellery I feel is aimed at younger teens so should be fine for most. The necklace comes beautiful presented and you can even buy matching earrings. This necklace costs £50 and I feel that this is a great price for a special gift like this, something that your older child/teen will love and treasure :O)

About Kit Heath –

Kit founded the Kit Heath sterling silver jewellery business at the tender age of 18, inspired by childhood memories of playing with his Grandfather’s precious gemstones and his school metalwork teacher, who taught Kit to make jewellery and inspired his imagination and entrepreneurial spirit.

With his youthful enthusiasm for jewellery, Kit sought a free and abundant supply of silver and discovered the family candlesticks in a cupboard at home. It wasn’t until the following Christmas that his misdemeanour was discovered – his parents have only just forgiven him!

In his early 20’s Kit bought a jewellery shop in North Devon and would leave his young teenage sister Katie to run the shop during the week, while he went off selling designs to jewellers. Kit would park his VW Camper overnight at beaches in the south of England, designing jewellery in the evenings and surfing in the mornings!

The business grew rapidly, with Kit and Katie sharing a common goal to create a national jewellery business based on beautifully designed jewellery inspired by the striking Devon coastline.
The business that was once run out of Kit’s VW Camper, has now become an internationally recognised, quintessentially British jewellery brand, available in jewellers across the United Kingdom and the United States.

I think when Kit started designing jewellery he had me in mind, I love silver jewellery and noticed that Kit designs alot with turquoise/jade and these are my favourite colours… so if anyone would like to buy me a little pressie ;O) (James!!!!)
This Sterling Silver Applique Leaf Cuff has really caught my eye… Going to have to start saving some pennies 😉
