July 18 – This Mummy Loves…

This Mummy Loves.../ TML Monthly

Welcome to July’s issue of This Mummy Loves… The products that we feature here are ones that we have been sent to try out over the last couple of months or ones we have bought ourselves and loved so much that we just had to share them with you 🙂

If you would like to have a product featured in the next edition of This Mummy Loves… please send me an email to to see if your product is suitable.

These are some products that we have loved this month…

Smash Back to School Range at Asda

I’ve been a huge fan of Smash lunch boxes for the past few years and I really have tried quite a few now. Smash always last the whole school year and longer where others we have bought don’t. These gorgeous lunch boxes are available in-store at ASDA from 10th July 2018, but only while stocks last! So if you see one you think your child will love for the new school year make sure you get to ASDA as soon as possible.

New Nivea Sun UV Face Range

I have loved Nivea for such a long time. I remember the little blue pot my mum used to use when I was little and I always used to love the smell of it back then. So I was really pleased to get to try these fab looking Nivea Sun products. Since I turned 40 last year I have been trying to take care of my skin more because let’s face it I’m not getting any younger! This heatwave is the perfect time to try these out and I could not love them more! I prefer the texture of the cream to the mousse but both products are really lovely, they absorb really easily and leave my face feeling really moisturised. I always forget to do my face when putting suncream on so these have really saved me this year. No burnt nose here 😉

New Look Nivea Deodorant Range

Nivea has given it’s deodorant range a fresh new look. I’ve been using the dry confidence anti perspirant for the last few weeks but you can see their whole new range over on the website. This has kept me totally fresh during this heat wave, I usually use a roll on deodorant but I have been converted! I love this and am looking forward to trying others from the range.

The lovely people at NOW TV kindly sent us some goodies for the kids to enjoy this summer. Bugs had his very own suitcase designed for him which was full of goodies that both kids will need this summer like sunglasses, water bottles, headphones, a NOW TV Smart stick as well as TV passes for their entertainment, sports, kids and movie channels so we are all covered with lots to watch this summer. When we go away we can just put the smart stick in our suitcase and take NOW TV with us wherever we go 🙂

What I’ve Been Reading…

Last week I listened to Faking Friends by Jane Fallon on Audible and absolutely loved it. I am definitely going to check out some of her other books now too. I’m finding I have less and less time at the moment to sit and read so listening to audio books is something I am doing more and more. It is so convenient! James bought me some AirPods recently and I think they are the best thing ever invented! I also listen to Why Mummy Drinks by Gill Sims which was also good, very funny in places!

What I’ve Been Watching…

Apart from the World Cup I haven’t really watched a great deal this month. I loved watching England play, I’ve never really been into football in my adult life but because Bugs was really into it we all got into it and I was probably the one who was on the edge of my seat and shouting at the TV most! I just loved it and may have shed a tear when Croatia knocked England out in the semi final.

We did watch Sully: Miracle on the Hudson this weekend as we got our NOW TV subscription activated, we had been wanting to watch Sully for ages so we were very pleased that it was on. Tom Hanks is such a brilliant actor and played the part of the pilot who landed the plane on the Hudson incredibly well. I believed every single second. What an absolute hero that pilot was!

That is all for this month, don’t forget to contact me soon if you have a product that you would like to see in my next edition!
