Well where has the sun gone? We’ve had rain all weekend, although we did manage to have a dry Parkrun yesterday so that was good. We haven’t done much else as the bathroom is still being done so we’ve been painting and just doing general house jobs. We’ve been without a bathroom for just over a week now; the plumber is confident he will be finished by the end of tomorrow. I think he’s being optimistic and expect he’ll be finished by the end of the week, but what do I know 😉 It is really exciting though and I am loving what I am seeing so far! I can’t wait for it all to be finished so I can have a nice long soak in the bath 🙂
Anyway here are my favourite photos from my Instagram account from the last week.
I enjoyed a trip to Twycross Zoo with Bugs year group last week. I just loved it, I remember going to Twycross when I was little on a school trip and my Mum came with us then. It is such a lovely memory and I hope Bugs remembers this like I do mine. I think the highlight of the trip for the kids was the double decker bus journey though… not so much for the adults!!

Speaking of highlights of the school trip I think getting to behave like monkeys at the playground was Bugs favourite part.
School trips really are exhausting, I drank this wine and it went straight to my head so I ended up in bed by 9.30pm!
Enjoying a bath at our neighbours house. #day161 #instagram366 #sonia2016366 #project366

Having no bathroom at home is a great thing for the kids as they get to bath at the neighbours house and play with their bath toys. Never have my kids been so eager to have a bath or use the toilet for that matter.
This one is just lovely at the moment, she went through a moody stage but she seems to have come back out of it again and is relaxed and happy again.
I was a bit cheeky and took a photo of this beautiful flower in my neighbours house while I was bathing the kids.
Love my new magnets, I was thinking of ordering some a few weeks ago but glad I waited as I got a buy one get one free offer through so I got 2 sheets for the price of one which was much better value.
Thankfully the nightmare only lasted one day, he must have been tired or something.
I love my little bunny, he’s so lovely and friendly.
No puddle is too small ? #day164 #sonia2016366 #instagram366 #project366

One good thing this weather is good for is puddle jumping and Bugs will find every single puddle (no matter how small) and splash in it. A walk to the shop 10 minutes away took us a good 40 minutes!

I love this way of recording your week – I too post our daily updates, and use IG to remind me of what we got up to! Your bunny is TOO cute! Kaz x
I hope your bathroom is finished soon, hurray for lovely neighbours! Love your sticky magnets too, a great idea.
How lovely are your neighbours letting you use their bathroom. I hope yours is finished soon and is as lovely as you hope. I love your fridge magnets, what a bargain. And I haven’t been to Twycross zoo, we shall have to visit one day.
I just adore his rainbow coat, where is it from? I have done two school trips in two weeks – the bus driver told us off for instigating a sing song #oops
Hey, I reckon a flower in a neighbour’s house is fair game when it comes to Instagram!! We have to get those snaps where we can!!
What great neighbours you are with next door! How lovely. Still, the first soak in a bathroom is so magical, I bet you can’t wait to have it finished!
I love that photo of the flower! So pretty.
Oh my goodness your bunny is so cute! I have two, ones a mini lop and the other is a lion head cross mini lop 🙂 x
You are so lucky that you have such great neighbours. It must be hard in the night without a bathroom. I lobe Alliums too. I wish it was warm enough here for them
A great selection Sonia and I can’t believe how much your kids are growing up!
Lovely photos and what a great week you have had.
That Allium is beautiful, we have them in our garden and they are a favourite of mine. Hope you get your bathroom sorted soon. Lovely pictures x
Sounds a busy week and great photos x
