I can’t believe we are almost through September already, I always start panicking around now as I have lots of birthdays in October and I can’t start to get ready for Christmas until all those are sorted so it’s always such a busy time. This week has been a quiet one as Bugs has been poorly so we haven’t really been anywhere or done anything other than the school run for Boo so I haven’t got many exciting photos to share this week.
I took this on the way home from cross country which she goes to for an hour after school each week. She loves to run and she loves to win, she’s currently learning to pace herself.
I usually take sleepy photos of Bugs because I know I won’t disturb him but I decided to try and get one of Boo anyway. She didn’t stir 🙂
I love my little family. Lero is off to Peru for six weeks on Wednesday, he is going to be working in an orphanage over there. I am so proud of him but I’m also pretty nervous for him too!! He’s such a wonderful, caring boy man and I am going to miss him terribly but it will be an amazing experience for him.
Just a cheeky selfie before they went to bed last night. Bugs is feeling better finally and is back at school this morning. He was a bit upset when I dropped him off but I think it was just because he’s spent so much time with me recently and didn’t want to leave me. I hate leaving them when they are sad, I just wanted to scoop him up, hug him and take him home with me 🙁
That’s it for this week! If you’re not already following me, please do come and connect – You can find me as Sonia2011 🙂

Wow, how amazing to be off to Peru. Hope your eldest has a fabulous and safe time over there
Wow, I’m not surprised you are proud. What a wonderful thing to do.
What an amazing thing to do in Peru. Your photos are gorgeous – they really capture happy family times.
Love the idea of weaving together your instagrams – I find more and more now mine are telling the stories I run out of time to blog. You must be so proud of them all 🙂
Wow what an amazing experience that will be working in an orphanage, so rewarding I expect. Hope bugs is feeling better now x
I’m glad that Bugs is feeling better. Everyone looks very happy in your photos!
It is such a proud moment when kids go off and do charity work. Good Luck to him in Peru and good luck Mama worrying about him – Abbey sent me pics of her patting a crocodile when she was working in Gambia
My son has a few days off school recently and really didn’t want to go back either. I was sorely tempted to let him stay at home he was so upset and he used to love school but he is struggling with the adjustment to year one. I hope Lero has a great time in Peru; my sister is off to India in January for six months to work on various projects. She will be missed by us all but it will be so good for her too.
I know exactly what you mean about birthdays in October. In our family it is November and the same applies I can’t get started on Christmas until I have them all ticked off and sorted.
Such a busy time, I’ve started on the birthdays so hopefully I will be able to get ~Christmas started soon too 😉
How amazing! Peru is somewhere I’d love to visit and walk the inca trail! Glad you are all feeling well again.
Thanks Joanne 🙂
Glad Bugs is feeling better, it’s horrid when they’re poorly. How exciting for Lero to be off to Peru, what an amazing experience that will be for him.
I know, I’m a little jealous 😉 Thanks Charly x

I can’t believe it’s September either, this year has gone so fast! Loving the family selfie snap, I really like Instagram but never seem to have time to edit and upload snaps.

You’ve reminded me to get back on Instagram more – I go through stages of loving it and using it lots, then being too busy! It’s such a great way to document life though 🙂
