Halloween Fun Inspired by BEAR

This year we decided we would like to do something a little bit more creative with our pumpkin so when BEAR sent us this awesome pumpkin and some of their yummy BEAR Claws I had a fab idea. Inspired by BEAR Claws we decided we would create some mix-and-match face parts to design our own pumpkin monsters.

Bear Claws are 100% fruit & veg shapes with no added nonsense. They count as one of your five a day, contain no added sugar or preservatives and are never from concentrates. Just PURE FRUIT & VEG!! Which makes them a perfect snack for your little monsters!

We have had BEAR Claws many times before but we have never tried the two recipes we were sent. Apple, Pear & Pumpkin and Blackcurrant & Beetroot and they are delicious. We especially love the blackcurrant & beetroot and the kids love build their own monsters with all of the monster parts before eating them. You can also buy Mango & Carrot and Strawberry & Butternut BEAR Claws which are equally delicious.

We all really enjoyed designing and colouring our own monster parts and it was not half as messy as carving the pumpkin. This is Boo with her monster design.

This is Bugs with his monster design, he even did a horn and a tail just like in a packet of BEAR Claws. He was very proud of his efforts but he did struggle to hold the pumpkin for a photo lol.

We all had fun making different faces with our face parts. What do you think of our pumpkin monsters? Cute or terribly scary?

I adore the pumpkin faces. They are much easier and nicer than a carving one. We love Bear, they are ace

I do like the idea of putting the faces onto the pumpkins rather than carving them (I am hopeless at things like that).

Love your pumpkin monsters!! You can’t really buy proper school snacks here, so when I am at home in the UK, Bear products are one of the things we bring back to get us through packed lunches! 😀
