The way to my heart on Mother’s Day (and every other day) is through a gorgeous bottle of wine and you really cannot go wrong with a bottle of Chardonnay. These are both really lovely wines but the Topsy-Turvy Chardonnay is especially delicious!

The Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay 2014 is currently available from Asda for £8.99 instead of £11.99. Rich and elegant, this is a silky and textured white, with opulent fig, pear and mineral aromas. It is the perfect partner for salmon and lean white meat such as chicken in cream sauce and caramelized apples.

The Palette Series Topsy-Turvy Chardonnay 2013 is available at Morrisons for £9.99. It is an elegant Chardonnay with hints of grapefruit and nutty oak. Dry and light bodied, this is a slightly funky and fine wine.

I love nothing more than to settle down in the bath with a good book after slapping on a face mask! I love these masques from 7th Heaven. I often add a couple to my shopping basket when I’m doing my weekly shop, they only cost about £1.00 so they are a lovely little treat that will never break the bank and can make you feel so fresh and rejuvenated in a very short space of time.

I’m so happy to have found this Qsilica REJUVENATE Invigorating Body Lotion (£19.94)! Not only does it smell amazing but it leaves my skin feeling wonderfully soft too! Moisturise and nourish your skin with the goodness of Avocado Oil, Macadamia Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E. Whilst promoting elasticity, suppleness and hydration this lotion delivers vitamins, essential fatty acids and mineral silica to give your skin a natural glow. The delicate fragrance of Lime, Lavender and Sandalwood refreshes and invigorates.

I was sent the tea tree & cinnamon foot scrub (£30.00)  and the sandalwood & saffron face mask (£27.00) to try and I LOVE them!

How pretty is this personalised love you mummy candle (£29.00), it would make such a special gift for a lovely mummy this Mother’s Day.

The Posh Choc Nibbles will be sure to go down a treat, why not serve them mum on Mother’s Day on a silver platter to make her feel extra special 🙂 Grab a bag for £1.00 at your local B&M’s… and don’t forget the prosecco 😉

A perfect little treat for Mum are these gorgeous Dark Chocolate Mint Flutes (£2.75) from Elizabeth Shaw. They are so moreish and perfect with a steaming hot cup of tea… don’t expect her to share though – I didn’t 😉

That’s all I’ve got for today. I hope you have found some inspiration here, please let me know if you do. I think the most important thing for me on Mother’s Day is spending time with my children and my mum. So many ideas here. My kids would be spoilt for choice. We tend not to do gifts instead, a card and breakfast in bed, but a mum can dream can’t she!
