I have been really useless with blogging recently, we’ve been so busy with decorating and trying to sort things out at home that I just haven’t had the time or desire really to sit and write so today I thought I’d sit and join in with #Littleloves again. I love this linky and just wish I could commit to it every week.
I’ve been pretty useless with reading too recently. I started the year off so well but I haven’t picked my book up for a couple of weeks now. I should do as I was really enjoying it…
I’m half way through Mercy by Jodi Picoult, it is a great book so far but I just haven’t had the time to read it. I usually read in the bath but I’ve been opting for a quick shower recently so I’ve lost that reading time. I’m going to try and make the effort to get this book finished and start a new one for next week.
I’m watching Suits on Netflix at the moment and I am totally addicted to it! I’ve almost finished it so I’m going to be looking for a new series to binge watch. Any suggestions?
James and I are watching Masterchef on BBC iPlayer when we get chance and it is really encouraging us to get more adventurous in the kitchen. James hardly ever cooks so it’s really nice to actually have someone cook for me every now and then. Although the last thing he made was pretty disgusting 😉 so I’m hoping he improves next time!
I’ve been listening to lots of music while I’ve been running over the last few weeks. One song that really gets stuck in my head and really pushes me to run faster is Peanut Butter Jelly. I’d never heard it until it came on my Running playlist on Spotify and I just love it! It’s so catchy, the kids have caught on to it and are always dancing around to it now too… I’m sure I’ll be sick of it soon 😉
The last thing I made were these gorgeous Easter cupcakes for my other half to take to work for his team. I just love baking but I don’t do it very often because I would just eat them all. So I make them for other people instead and at least I get to lick the bowl while I’m doing them 😉
There have been a few days where I have been able to wear my Saltwater sandals recently instead of my boots! It makes me so happy to be able to wear them again! I am so ready for summer!!
As some of you will know I am training to run a half marathon at the moment. Last night I ran 10km in just under 60 mins and I am so pleased with myself! I never ever thought I’d be able to run 10km… I couldn’t even run 1km in January so it is a huge achievement for me! Now I just have to double that and then some – I’m really nervous about the half marathon but I know that I can do it if I just keep up with my training.
If you have any spare cash I’d love for you to sponsor me for my half marathon. I’m raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support so it is a really worthy cause. Everyone who sponsors me will get their link in my sidebar over there —–> until the end of the year as a thank you 🙂
