Family Games from MEGABLEU

Review/ Toy Review

This week we have been enjoying playing some new family games from MEGABLEU. I hadn’t actually heard of MEGABLEU before so was very interested to get to experience some of their products.

Founded in 1994, MEGABLEU France is an independent publisher of children’s games. Since its creation, MEGABLEU has built a strong market position in the French market and since 2010 the company has started to build its international expansion. Today you can buy MEGABLEU products in more than 15 countries.

Even before opening the boxes my kids were very excited to play these games as the product packaging makes then look like a whole heap of fun. These are perfect for this time of year as they are incredibly spooky 😉

First up we tried Creepy Hand. This is basically a game of truth or dare; you set the hand in the middle of the players and switch it on, it creepily rotates and then stops to points at someone. I think this works much better with more players so invite all your friends round. You can choose truth, dare or forfeit if you don’t fancy the truth or dare. We have all really enjoyed playing this game, it can be a whole lot of fun for the family, it gets us all being silly together and chatting too.

We have made a little video  of Creepy Hand that you can watch here…

It does say for 7 years and over on the box but my littlest who is 5 was able to join in, I just adapted a few of the questions so that he could understand them. It is for 2 or more players but we say more the merrier 🙂 The hand requires 3AA batteries.

Next up is Ghost Hunt Evolution and boy oh boy were my kids excited to play this. It is suitable for 5 years and over and is for one or more players. The idea of the game is to shoot the projected bats and ghosts with your laser gun to score points. Ghosts are 1 point, bats are 3 points and the winner is the player with the highest number of points. There is only one laser gun so you do have to take it in turns but you can buy additional guns separately if you wish to. The projector (Billy Bones) requires 4 AA batteries and the gun requires 3 AAA batteries so make sure you are stocked up 🙂

Again we have made a little video of this for you to enjoy 🙂

MEGABLEU games can be purchased from Argos, Smyths, Firebox, ToysRus, Toymaster, Amazon, Debenhams and Tobar.

So nice to see these films as we reviewed these games too albeit in one film. Sounds like everyone had as much fun with them as we did. Turns out my husband does an awesome cow impression. Who knew!

They look like a fun addition to the family games selection. Sometimes it’s nice to have something different to a board game.
