Easter Treats – Something For Everyone

Food & Drink/ gifts

It’s probably a bad idea to start putting this post together whilst I am trying to eat healthily but what the heck I’ve done it for you anyway and might have put on a few pounds in the process 😉 Easter is right around the corner, my absolute favourite time of year… not just for the chocolate but for Spring, lambs, chicks, tulips, daffodils and the other wonderful things that come with it so I’m feeling pretty chirpy right now! I’ve put together a few Easter treats to give you some ideas of what you can pick up for Easter at the moment. Enjoy xx

Easter is the perfect time for new bikes, the weather is getting better and the nights are getting lighter meaning there is much more time to get outdoors for family bike rides. Bugs is ready for a new bike now so he will be getting one this Easter. We didn’t bother at Christmas incase he had a growth spurt  so he will be getting one that is the perfect size for him right now. Daddy is a avid cyclist and has always been a big fan of Ridgeback bikes so Bugs will be getting the Ridgeback MX20… I really can’t wait to see his face 🙂

Perfectly proportioned to provide small riders the best fit for comfort and control, a Ridgeback kid’s bike is easily adjustable to keep up pace with a growing child. The handlebar stem design allows easy adjustment as the child grows whilst a high quality saddle and soft grips provide the necessary comfort when learning to cycle.

From Scoot beginner bike to 24” wheel, all bikes have a light aluminium frame and high quality specifications providing the durability to allow them to be passed on to a second child. All Ridgeback kid’s bikes meet the relevant ISO safety standards.

HARIBO have some perfect treats available just for Easter. I am obsessed with HARIBO especially the fizzy ones so I may have hidden these away for myself 😉

Meantime’s Chocolate Porter (£21.99 for a case of 12 x 330ml bottles) is one for the grown ups who like a nice beer!  The natural mocca flavours of the four different roasted malts used to brew this rich, dark beer are complemented by the addition of real chocolate during maturation. Warm, complex and smooth, it has a long, clean finish.  It is an ideal digestif and dessert beer to replace the traditional Easter egg, it is also a superb match for the meat and game stews you may well be indulging in on Easter Sunday!

I was just thinking today that there wasn’t much Easter stuff in the shops. I shall have to look harder! Perhaps more will appear when the Mother’s Day ranges are cleared off the shelves.
