Welcome to the fourth edition of Draw with Me! Thank you so much to everyone who took part in October, I hope you will all join in again this time and we get a few newbie’s joining in too
Draw with me is a brand new linky which Boo & I have come up with together and are really excited about! Boo is a very very keen artist and loves to draw and do anything creative and she loves me to give her a theme when she wants to draw but can’t think of anything. She is also very keen on getting involved with my blog and taking part in reviews etc so I thought this would be perfect to put the two together; so basically once a month I set a theme and we then get our kids to interpret that theme by drawing a picture! Each month there will be a great ‘creative’ prize for one random winner; this will be picked out of a hat by Boo herself! We love the idea of the kids being rewarded for their willingness to take part so I’m hoping to get runner-up prizes each month too! If you are a ‘creative’ business reading this and would like to donate prizes then please get in touch as I am hoping to have a bumper edition in December and need a few great prizes 🙂
Before I go on to this months theme we have to announce October’s winner. The prize for October was a £30 voucher to spend at The Toadstool kindly donated by the lovely Rebecca from The Beesley Buzz. The winner is entry number #10 from The Mummy Diary – Congratulations M! Boo and I really loved your drawing!! I hope you enjoy spending your voucher; please tell Mummy I will be in touch to arrange your prize 🙂
This month Boo has decided on the theme which is…
Toys
So get the kids some colouring pens and paper and let them show us what they can do! Just let them interpret the theme however they wish 🙂
We cannot wait to see all this months results!!
Here is Boo’s drawing…

[…] I go on to this months theme we have to announce November’s winner. The prize for November was a Gruffalo paint and play set kindly donated by Beebies Babystore. The winner is entry number #1 from Trials & Tribulations […]
[…] Since moving into a house with much more room… a living room, a play room and a conservatory to do things like painting and playdoh.. I have noticed her doing less drawing. In our previous house we had 1 really quite small living room off the kitchen in which ALL the toys came out. The crayons were always in easy reach and she spent so much time every day without fail colouring or drawing “letters” as she called them. But she doesn’t seem to do it at all these days, even though I have got her a little table to sit at and do this now. Perhaps what entertains her has shifted recently – she does a lot of imaginary play such as acting out Goldilocks with 3 Teddy Bears and some bowls or going on a bear hunt… but perhaps it is the set up in the new house to blame. Now we are out of the settling in period it is time for me to focus a bit more on encouraging her once again, it really was one of her favorite activities. That’s why I am loving the Draw With Me challenge on This Mummy Loves. […]
Another fab topic choice and I love your picture Maisie well done, we love Lego here as well 🙂
Thank you for hosting. My kids loved doing this and the prize is so apt, as my avatar is my Russian dolls, because my kids have played with them so much since they were tiny.
They have both done a picture on my blog post, but can you confirm I am correct just to link the blog post once on the linky?
Thanks so much for taking part again – yes once in the linky is fine hon x
