Draw With Me – May 2016

So yes as promised #drawwithmelinky is back! We have really missed doing it and Bugs is really into drawing now so it is a perfect way for us to do something all together for the blog, also it is a really lovely way of saving some of the kids art too! We would really love for you to join in with us. You have until the 23rd May to take part and there is always a chance to win a fab little prize too 🙂

What is Draw With Me?

Draw with me is a linky which Boo & I came up with together and are really excited about! Boo is a very very keen artist and loves to draw and do anything creative and she loves me to give her a theme when she wants to draw but can’t think of anything. She is also very keen on getting involved with my blog and taking part in reviews etc so I thought this would be perfect to put the two together.

Basically once a month I set a theme and we then get our kids to interpret that theme by drawing a picture! Each month there will be a great ‘creative’ prize for one random winner; this will be picked out of a hat by Boo herself! We love the idea of the kids being rewarded for their willingness to take part so I’m hoping to get runner-up prizes each month too! If you are a ‘creative’ business reading this and would like to donate prizes then please get in touch.

The Theme.

The theme this month is… Favourite Books

So get the kids some colouring pens and paper and let them show us what they can do! Just let them interpret the theme however they wish 🙂

We cannot wait to see all this months results!!

I’m really pleased to have Bugs joining in now and Boo will be taking part over on her blog in future, so here is what Bugs came up with…

Bugs has been reading Jack & The Beanstalk at school recently and really loves the story so he choose to draw this and he also wanted to do Where’s Wally as he is really obsessed with those books at the moment… we all are actually 😉

The Rules.

1. Get your kids to draw a picture to describe the theme chosen.
2. Publish a blog post with your child’s picture/s and include my badge (code below)
3. Come here and leave your link in the linky which expires at the end of the 23rd May 2016
4. A winner will be chosen at random from all the pictures that are linked up and have added the ‘draw with me’ badge.
5. The winner will be announced on the 1st June in the new ‘Draw With Me’ post.

The Prize.

This month’s prize is a giant box of Hama beads. The actual box may vary depending on availability but it will be equivalent to the box pictured 🙂
