Wow I can’t quite believe it is already the 1st of March, this year is flying by. We have been so busy that we have had to rush to get this months post put together, Boo only got her drawing done this morning as Mummy still thought that there was still at least 2 more days left in February 😉
Draw with me is a brand new linky which Boo & I have come up with together and are really excited about! Boo is a very very keen artist and loves to draw and do anything creative and she loves me to give her a theme when she wants to draw but can’t think of anything. She is also very keen on getting involved with my blog and taking part in reviews etc so I thought this would be perfect to put the two together; so basically once a month I set a theme and we then get our kids to interpret that theme by drawing a picture! Each month there will be a great ‘creative’ prize for one random winner; this will be picked out of a hat by Boo herself! We love the idea of the kids being rewarded for their willingness to take part so I’m hoping to get runner-up prizes each month too! If you are a ‘creative’ business reading this and would like to donate prizes then please get in touch.
February’s Winner.
Before I go on to this months theme we have to announce February’s winner. The prize for February was a favourite teddy portrait from Little Red Boots and the winner is entry number 3 Boo Draws Rabbit – Congratulations Boo! We really loved your drawing of Rabbit 🙂 I hope you enjoy your prize; I will be in touch with Mummy to arrange it.
The Theme.
The theme this month is Spring… we are so ready for Spring, my favourite time of the year :O)
So get the kids some colouring pens and paper and let them show us what they can do! Just let them interpret the theme however they wish
We cannot wait to see all this months results!!
Here is Boo’s drawing…

What a fab idea!!! I love it. So original. Would be hilarious to get my little boy onto this. He is 4 and hates drawing…all he can draw is the same ‘person’ that he says is whatever he wants to draw…a cat (has a few extra legs)…a crab (a few more legs again)…you get the picture. It is hilarious!
Spring is a fantastic topic – I think we are all hoping it has now well and truly sprung! Boos picture captures the spirit of spring wonderfully – and what a great linky – I think we may have to join in if we can stay indoors long enough 🙂

What a lovely idea for a linky – love that there is a theme. I will definitely be trying to get my girls to join in – they love drawing – I will just have to remember to remind them!
This is a brilliant idea for a linky. And Boos spring picture is completely delightful
What a wonderful idea for a linky! My two LOVE drawing, even though little Gwen at the moment is just coming up with ‘interpretive’ scribbles.
I am loving Boo’s drawing, very impressive. If I can get Annie to play along then we’ll link up too, unfortunately she doesn’t like themes, she seems more of a draw it and see what it turns into kinda gal!!
All the pictures linked up so far are lovely! I love kids artwork. I’ll have to get mine to have a go – I keep meaning to join this but I need to get better organised
Such a fab idea to get kids drawing – and *crosses fingers* a very apt theme for this month too…shall get my kids on the case! #blogclub
It is lovely when children enjoy art, unfortunately I cannot draw to save my life but I certainly do encourage the twins to at this early stage so fingers crossed they’ll be a lot better than me, but then again that’s not hard! Love the linky idea #blogclub
Lovely idea to get the kids drawing!
Ooooh this looks fun. We’ll definitely join in. It’s a wonderful idea thanks.
Can’t join in with the linky but what a great picture Boo drew, I would love that on my wall!
Oh I LOVE this idea for a linky! My daughter never goes anywhere without paper and pens and she draws and makes things every day! We will definitely be joining in from now on 🙂 I love Boo’s drawing of the flowers too. xxx

I just love this idea. I can’t wait until Little Mr is drawing me pictures and I’m having to guess what the picture is. Lovely flowers 🙂
What a fantastic link up, I’m going to ask my daughter if she’s like to take part, she loves to draw too #blogclub
Great idea, must get Emma to draw something and we will join in, she is a very keen artist too :-). P.S.-Boo’s painting is lovely, shows real talent!
A great linky to get the kiddies involved! I will certainly remember it for when my twins are bigger! I love the theme of spring, it really is starting to feel like winter is finally going! #blogclub
Thanks so much, Boo is so excited to have won! Especially as it was with Rabbit, as she really loves Rabbit!
That’s a lovely Spring picture, and a great theme choice. We’ll be back with our drawing soon 🙂
Spring is a great theme – it will get us really excited that Spring is on its way. Great picture of flowers in the vase Boo – love it! Will get the kids to join in soon. x
