Draw with Me – June 2014

Draw With Me

I am so so sorry we are late with June’s Draw with Me linky, we have been so busy with last week being half term that we just haven’t had time to get it sorted! Anyway we are here now and I will leave it open for an extra couple of days to give you all a chance to get your entries in 🙂

What is Draw With Me?

Draw with me is a  linky which Boo & I have come up with together and are really excited about! Boo is a very very keen artist and loves to draw and do anything creative and she loves me to give her a theme when she wants to draw but can’t think of anything. She is also very keen on getting involved with my blog and taking part in reviews etc so I thought this would be perfect to put the two together.

Basically once a month I set a theme and we then get our kids to interpret that theme by drawing a picture! Each month there will be a great ‘creative’ prize for one random winner; this will be picked out of a hat by Boo herself! We love the idea of the kids being rewarded for their willingness to take part so I’m hoping to get runner-up prizes each month too! If you are a ‘creative’ business reading this and would like to donate prizes then please get in touch.

May’s Winner

Last month’s prize was a £20 Amazon voucher so your little one can treat themselves to some creative goodies. The winner of that is… 3 Kids and a Gluestick – Thank you so much for taking part Jasmine and Thomas; I’ll be in touch with Mum to arrange your voucher 🙂

The Theme.

The theme this month is a little bit different 😉 Everyone has to design a plate to be in with a chance of winning their drawing on a plate.

So you need to download and print this template and let them get busy with their crayons. Obviously you don’t need to fill in all the extra details just now as you will be posting them on your blogs, just use the template to let the kids draw their pictures, this makes it easier if they win for their plate to be printed 🙂

We cannot wait to see all this months results!!

Unfortunately we were running late this month and Boo hasn’t had chance to get hers done yet but we will be adding her design here in a couple of days 🙂

The Rules.

  1. Get your kids to draw a picture to describe the theme  chosen.
  2. Publish a blog post with your child’s picture/s and include my badge (code below)
  3. Come here and leave your link in the linky which expires at the end of the 25th June 2014
  4. A winner will be chosen at random from all the pictures that are linked up and have added the ‘draw with me’ badge.
  5. The winner will be announced on the 1st July in the new ‘Draw With Me’ post.

The Badge.

The Prize.

The prize this month is your child’s artwork on a plate from Studio Kids Design – This is such a fab idea, I would love to have Boo’s artwork on a plate, Just think how proud it would make them seeing it print on their very own plate!

Oh that’s a lovely idea. Once N is a bit more interested in drawing (and can draw more than a scribble and lots of Ns) I’ll definitely be taking him to a pottery place.
