Hands up who remembers the 1985 Levi’s 501 advert where the guy walks into the dry cleaners takes off his clothes and sits down in his boxers with a magazine while his clothes wash? I must have been only about 8 at the time but I remember everything about it, the guy, the jeans, the giggling girls, the dude in the cowboy hat and most of all the music. I watched it for the first time in a long time today and boy did it bring back lots of childhood memories.
I was delighted to find out that the lovely people at Dr Beckmann had remade the iconic ad using former Eastenders star Shaun Williamson, who played Barry Evans. It’s a brilliant, funny advert that you all really must watch! It is just as good as the original with some great little touches added by Dr Beckmann and how can you resist the lovable Barry… personally I think he gives Nick Kamen a run for his money 😉
If you head over to Dr Beckmann’s Facebook page and see their pinned post you can enter to win year’s supply of Dr Beckmann’s Colour and Dirt Collector AND a signed pair of boxer shorts by Shaun.
