Did you know it’s Blue Nose Friends Friendship Week :)

Review

30th July is International Friendship Day, and also marks the start of ‘Blue Nose Friends Friendship Week’ – BFF Week for short – with mini friendship events running for kids up and down the country at Entertainer stores until 4th August (inclusive), including a chance to post friendship messages on a giant Tatty Teddy character in store to win a prize!

Worlds Apart is keen not to leave grown-up best friends out of this celebration! Any friends, young or old, who pop in to The Entertainer Stores during this with their best friend, are invited to take a snap with the Tatty Teddy character and simply TWEET the picture using the hashtag #BFFWeek. Alternatively, you can send it to the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/worldsapartkids. At the end of the week, one lucky winner will be drawn at random and to win a fabulous £200 to spend on a super treat with their friend, courtesy of Worlds Apart.

BFF Week has been set up to celebrate the launch of the new My Blue Nose Friends Collectables from Worlds Apart. For details of participating Entertainer stores, visit http://www.thetoyshop.com and for information about the new My Blue Nose Friends Collectables visit http://worldsapart.com/play/my-blue-nose-friends.html

We were sent one of the new Blue Nose Friends play sets (Peanut’s Lamp Play Set) & a two figure pack (Zee Zee the Goat & Rainbow the Puffin) to play with and have to say it has gone down very well with Miss Boo and even Bugs adores the little figures.

Peanut the hamster lives inside this cosy little Lamp House. The lamp house has a working night light, and features a kitchen with accessories, comfy bedroom with bed and bedding for Peanut when it’s time for bed. Functioning as a real working night light once the day is over you can doze off to sleep with the comfort of the soft glow.

Boo loves playing with this adorable little house, she especially loves that it is a little night light too, which switches on and off using the little milk bottle near the door step. The figures are made from hard plastic but are soft to the touch which make them super cute! I’d advise not to let your toddler suck them though 😉 Boo loves to play with this in her bedroom; it is sitting on her bedside table so she has the little light to use at night if she needs it and I often find her playing and making up little adventures with it first thing in a morning! I adore the imagination of a 5 year old – how they can create lots of different games for themselves! This certainly is a perfect toy for that! I love that you can add to it as well by buying more of the figures that come in 1, 2 or 4 packs. There are also some cute little sets which are designed to fit into the playsets rooms like Kittywink the Cat’s Kitchen Set or Chilly the Penguin’s Bathroom Set. There is also a little blue motor car for them to drive around in and the one and only Tatty Teddy’s Heart Playhouse which boasts 7 rooms,  a moveable staircase and slide and fire that lights up! I think these are a lovely new range of products and I will definitely be adding to Boo’s set in the future 🙂
