Day 14/366 – 2012 A Year In Pictures

2012/ 366

My big boy is home again for the weekend! It is so good to have him here and Bugs just ADORES him!

It makes me so sad to think Bugs will be growing up having his big brother live elsewhere… but I guess even if he had stayed with us his time would have come to leave home anyway! We’ll just have to make the best of the time we have with him :O)

You have definitely captured the look of love there.
I understand how you feel about your older boy not always being their for your younger boy, but the time they spend together will always be wonderful for both of them.

Just to echo what others have said, you can see the bond they have and the love they share. You might actually find their relationship is more special as the time they have together will be of quality, rather than quantity.

That's such a special picture. The love between them both is tangible. Regardless of whether big'un is living with you or not, their bond will still be strong and unfaltering; they're brothers.

Their relationship will still be so close. I never lived with my lil bro (who is now 15) as I was already at Uni when he appeared – (mum and dads lil surprise)! but it doesnt matter, I adore him.

OMG! I think I am slightly in love with Maxwell's hair and fashion sense…I have a pretty 15 months old who is a lot of fun when she is well, she is pretty too, just in case he is interested 🙂

There is a definite look of adoration there, from them both. I bet you'll find as they get older they'll get closer. My dad and uncle have quite a big age gap but they're really close now they're both grown up. X

This is my favourite picture so far. The love in both their eyes has brought tears to mine. I know what you mean about living apart. I lived separate to my baby brother and we are still the closest xxxx
