Christmas Gift Guide: For Kids

Christmas Gift Guide

Disclosure: Some of the products that are featured in this post were sent for inclusion – as always all opinions are my own and I wouldn’t include something that I don’t personally love.

I’m getting so excited about Christmas now. I’ve not really started thinking about it or done any shopping yet though. There’s plenty of time yet, hey? 😉

Today I’m looking at some gifts for children, I love shopping for kids. It is such a magical time for them. I feel a bit sad this year that my kids are growing up. My youngest is 9 now and although he still believes in all the magic, I know it is only a matter of time. So this year I am making it an extra special Christmas just because 🙂

Who can resist the smell of Johnson’s? This bath time gift set is just £10 at Asda and includes a bath puzzle as well as Johnson’s baby shampoo, Johnson’s baby bath, Johnson’s baby lotion and Johnson’s baby wipes.

This spaceman lamp would be a brilliant gift for any aspiring astronaut. It’s currently reduced to £29.00 over at Red Candy and if spaceman aren’t your bag then just take a look at all the other wonderful lamps they have to offer 🙂

My son could not be more excited about the release of the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book ‘Wrecking Ball‘ – he has the whole set and reads them over and over again.

Tom Gates books are another big favourite in this house so the newly released Tom Gates: Spectacular School Trip (Really.) is another must have!

Another book that has caught my eye is ‘No Worries! Mindful Kids: An activity book for young people who sometimes feel anxious or stressed‘ which will definitely be under our tree this year as Bugs does tend to worry an awful lot and anything that I can do to help ease that would be brilliant.

Bugs loves to have Nerf battles with the other kids on the street. He is also a big Fornite fan so this Nerf Fortnite SP-L Blaster with Detachable Barrel is going to be a winner!

Bugs had a Nintendo Switch for his birthday a couple of years ago and he has loved The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild so is very excited about Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening.

I always like to buy some games that we can play altogether as a family. This year I think I will be getting Rapidough Board Game, it looks like a lot of fun could be had.

Bugs is really into crystals and rocks at the moment so I know this Crystal Growing Experimental Kit will go down really well. Who doesn’t love a science experiment?

As a family we all love Harry Potter so I think I might just have to get this A Year At Hogwarts Board Game for us to play too 🙂

How totally adorable is this girl’s bunny jacket? I really wish this had been around when Boo was smaller… I wonder if they make them for 13 year olds 😉

Every child needs a pair of these awesome Space Print Pyjamas that actually glow in the dark. They are in the boy’s section but these would look amazing on girls too!

You’ve got some great items here. It’s good to see Zelda getting some love, I remember playing that as a kid in the early 90s!

Thanks for these ideas. My son too is probably in his final year of believing in the magic, very sad. I didn’t realise that there was a new Wimpy Kid book out – one for the stocking methinks!
