Christmas Gift Guide: Food & Drink

Christmas Gift Guide

If you can’t treat yourself or someone you love to something gorgeous to eat or drink at Christmas then when can you? For a whole week (maybe two) we like to relax the healthy eating rules in our household and our no drinking on a school night rule and just enjoy some glorious treats. Today I’m bringing you some absolutely gorgeous ideas that you might like to consider this Christmas just to treat yourself or your loved ones.

I really do have to get my hands on one of these gorgeous Quality Street tins (£7.50) this year. Christmas just isn’t Christmas without a tin of Quality Street is it?

I love to get a nice panettone at Christmas, I find them so much nicer than a traditional Christmas cake. This citron and chocolate panettone (£19.90) is just so delicious! It is flavoured with dark chocolate and candied citron peel, topped with a hazelnut sugared crust… Yummy!

This elegant afternoon tea hamper (£100.00) would make a wonderful gift for a very special person. How amazing would it be to have such a delicious gift! Afternoon tea is always a winner!

I’m hoping there will be a bottle of Slingsby Rhubard Gin (£40.00) in my stocking on Christmas morning. It is such a delicious gin! It’s really lovely mixed with a nice prosecco too!

I love this Gourmet Marshmallow Toasting Kit (£19.00), it’s such a fab idea! I know my kids would love this but I’d be tempted to keep it for myself 😉 You can even choose the flavours of marshmallows… the salted caramel ones sound amazing!

If you know someone who loves to eat out then I think a fine dining or Michelin dining experience would be a HUGE hit. There are so many different options available for different budgets.

This Bollinger Rosé Champagne and 2 Flutes Set (£90.00) could not be anymore perfect for a special Christmas celebration.

Another thing that you just have to have at Christmas is a Cadbury’s selection box and this Cadbury Retro Selection Box (£5.95) is just perfect for us oldies 😉

These Piccadilly Sweet Parade Gin & Tonic Boiled Sweets (£5.00) are the perfect little gift for your gin loving friends.

The Taste of Belgium Chocolate Gift Bag (£30.00) is full of yummy chocolate treats. The Belgian biscuit selection is just amazing!

I love Cartwright & Butler products and these Salted Caramel Biscuits (£10.00) sound delicious!

Do you have to buy for someone who loves cocktails? Then what about this Cocktail Trio Gift Set (£30.00) from M&S? I love to buy sets like this as if gives the receiver a chance to try different things that they might not otherwise get the chance to.

I’d love to hear if I have given you some inspiration so please leave me a comment and make sure you check out all of my other Christmas Gift Guides here. 🙂
