Christmas Gift Guide 2016: For Kids

Christmas Gift Guide

This is always my favourite gift guide to put together, I love finding gorgeous gifts for kids. I always like to seek out products that are a little bit different, great value, educational and most of all fun. I am absolutely sure you will find something here if you are looking to buy gifts for kids of most ages. I really despise tat and always try to seek out quality products. I think that shows through the products I have listed here 🙂

Smart Globe Discovery (£59.99) – First up is the Smart Globe Discovery from Oregon Scientific. This is an absolutely fantastic gift for an inquisitive mind. It has three activity panels, 19 exciting activities and hours of informative audio content, which gives you endless educational entertainment with amazing facts about planet Earth. You can learn all about the population of different places, capital cities, currencies and so much more. It is a really great well made product, a lovely big size and has taught *me* so much already… Geography was never my strong point!

Fright Factory Creature Creator (£19.99) – The Fright Factory Creature Creator is the ghoulish way to make your own disgusting creatures. Pour the EwwGoo™ into a mould, place in the chamber, and turn the crank – you’ll have your very own 3D creatures in just 3 minutes. Mix the gels together to create, multi-coloured beasties, bats and skeletons.

Hallmark itty bittys – We absolute love itty bitty from Hallmark, they come in so many different ranges like Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics and more. I am sure there is an itty bitty for everybody! These are a perfect stocking filler for kids and grown ups alike.

Scentco Smencils, Smens and Scented Gel Crayons – My daughter has fallen in love with these items from Scentco. They smell absolutely amazing, the scents last a minimum of two years and just how gorgeous do they look? The Smencils are made from 100% recycled newspaper!  You can buy them from retailers like Rymans or online at Amazon.

Smart Lab Squishy Human Body – Do you have a child who is really intrigued by how they work and how they are made? Then this squishy human body is absolutely perfect! It comes complete with removable squishy organs as well as representative skeletal, vascular, and muscular systems, kids can explore the complex inner workings of the human body and literally see how it all works!

Wentworth Playful Santa Puzzle (£9.95) – We adore Wentworth Puzzles, they are so beautifully made. This one is 25 pieces and is a perfect stocking filler for children this Christmas. They will love adding in the Christmas themed wooden pieces to complete their playful Santa 🙂

Buff Monster Hat (£23.00) & Neckwarmer (24.00) – Hats and scarves are always on my kids wish lists, they love having really cool ones and these from Buff are perfect for keeping them super toasty this winter and making them look totally awesome. They have full fleece lining which makes them so soft and cosy!

Madison Waterproof Jacket (£39.99) – This jacket is perfect for the young cyclist. The highly durable polyester fabric is waterproof, windproof and breathable with a mesh lining for added comfort. The Reflective trim on the front and rear of the jacket offers increased visibility for extra safety. The relaxed cycle oriented fit works perfectly over the top of school uniform or casual clothes without compromising function. It’s available in yellow, orange, blue or pink.

Wise Words for Kids (from £7.95) – This book is full of uplifting, inspiring quotes making it perfect for tweens or teens. You can edit each quote or remove and add your own, you get to preview the whole thing before you buy so you can see just how awesome it will be 🙂

Okido Magazine (£4.00) – Okido is a bimonthly arts and science magazine for ages 3-8 years. Both of my kids absolutely love it and they are 6 & 10. Boo is a bit old for it now but she still loves to have a look through. Bugs loves to do all the activities and read the stories, it is something that we have really enjoyed looking at together. So wonderful to see him really interested in something that isn’t digital! Check out the special Christmas subscription offer here.

Okido Colouring Book (£4.00) -If you already have an Okido fan then make sure you pick up the Okido colouring book, it’s a bargain at £4.00 and is full of adorable pages to colour and lots of fun little puzzles and activities too.

I’d love to hear if I have given you some inspiration so please leave me a comment and make sure you check out all of my other Christmas Gift Guides here. 🙂
