The kids were sent these three books recently from Lonely Planet Kids and today we are going to tell you about how great they are. Firstly I will say we have had books from Lonely Planet Kids before that we have bought ourselves and they are amazing quality books, really sturdy hard back books that make wonderful gifts that will be treasured for a very long time. They are books that you can just keep going back to and every time you pick one up you will learn something new. A yummy snack called Knoppers have just launched in the UK and today we are going to tell you all about them! Knoppers first launched in Germany in 1983 and are a very popular snack in more than 50 countries! I’m not sure why it’s taken them so long to get to the UK but boy oh boy are we glad they have! Storck are the brand behind Knoppers who have previously brought us Werther’s Originals, Toffifee, Riesen and Bendicks. Read more
I don’t know about you but the summer holidays really wear me out. This year more than any other year because not only have I got the kids at home every day and we are trying to pack our days with lots of fun activities, I’m also trying to keep on top of work and train for my half marathon next month too! Bugs has been obsessed with Despicable Me and the Minions ever since the first film came out a few years ago and has been a huge fan ever since! For his birthday a couple of weeks ago he choose to go to the cinema to watch Despicable Me 3 and his love for the Minions grew even more so as you can imagine he was overjoyed when he was recently sent this awesome Despicable Me 3 back to school bundle. You would think that as a parent of children that suffer with asthma and other allergies I might have previously shown some concern with the air they breathe, but it has never really been something that I thought about affecting them. I wasn’t surprised to find out that I wasn’t alone, we seem to spend so much time thinking about what food and drink we put inside ourselves but not about the air we breathe. I arrived home last week to find the biggest box I had ever seen in my hallway… However it wasn’t the box which was the surprise, it was the fantastic product inside! Bugs had just finished learning to ride on a second hand bike, which is now far too small and was ready for an upgrade.
