I love Bonfire Night, there is nothing better than getting wrapped up and going out to the local bonfire & fireworks display with the kids. I have such happy memories of bonfire night when I was little, it was always such a treat and I want my children to have the same happy memories that I do. Bonfire toffee was always something mum used to make for us to take with us to the local display and I always remember there being hotdogs and delicious jacket potatoes too.Read more

I just love this time of year, there is nothing I love more than getting busy in the kitchen with the kids and making some delicious treats. I do try to keep it nice and simple so that the end result can be enjoyed sooner rather than later as I find the kids will get a bit bored with waiting to sample their goods. In fact I took James out for a curry for his birthday a few weeks ago and we had the best curry of our lives at MemSaab in Nottingham. It was amazing!
