Hi everyone. I can’t believe it’s Monday again already. The weeks are just flying by now aren’t they! It will be Christmas Day before we know it and I haven’t even thought about a single present yet! I really need to start thinking about it! I get later and later each year. I really want to go away for Christmas this year so I’m on the look out for some late Christmas deals… do let me know if you see anything. Read more
Our last week has been pretty awesome, the kids were off school as it was half term and we spent lots of time together doing family things. James took Friday off so we had a long weekend and today Bugs had an inset day so me and him have just been to the cinema and out for lunch. It’s been the perfect end to a wonderful half term. I’m kind of sad that the kids have to go back to school but I really do need to get some work done, my house could do with a bit of a clean and besides there are only seven weeks until the Christmas holidays!!!!
During October I am taking part in #Blogtober18, where I write a blog post everyday for the whole month and today I am sharing my week 43 photos from our project 365 which is where I take a photo every single day. I always record this weekly on the blog but you can see my daily postings on my personal Instagram here. I love this project, I have been doing it straight for 8 years now, it is getting much harder as the kids get older though!
During October I am taking part in #Blogtober18, where I write a blog post everyday for the whole month. Mandi over at Big Family Organised Chaos is hosting a linky each day where she also gives a prompt for us to write about. Today’s prompt is ‘Unusual Pets’ we don’t actually have any pets and the most exciting pet we have ever had passed away earlier this year… he was a house bunny called Merlin and we loved him very much. So today I’m going to be sharing my #project365 photos from the last week instead 🙂 Read more
Great news everyone! We pick our new car up tomorrow… finally after 3 months of being carless! I cannot wait to get back out in the world again and start doing some more exploring! I’ve already made plans for next weekend and now *fingers crossed* we will be able to go away for a few days at half term! I can’t wait to be able to go and see my family again. Even though I don’t really use the car that much at all during the week I didn’t realise how much it would limit us, so I’m really happy and very excited to go and fetch it tomorrow 🙂
This was our week in photos…
October is well and truly here, it really has turned cold this last week hasn’t it? I’ve been frozen on the school run some mornings and then others I have regretted wearing a coat. I’m still trying to resist putting the heating on but it is really are needed in an evening now… I was so cold getting in to bed last night! We had a lovely week, it was James’ birthday so we had a great time celebrating. Unfortunately we still have no car so there haven’t really been any exciting adventures. Read more
Wow! Happy October everyone! How can it be October already? If there is one thing I don’t like about doing this project is seeing the weeks just ticking by. October is a crazy busy month here as it is James’ birthday as well as Liam’s and Boo’s, so I am always so busy thinking about them and planning parties etc. So no one in this house is even allowed to mention the C word until all of those birthdays are out of the way otherwise I think my head would explode. It’s been another quiet week here, we are still carless so it isn’t making life easy but hopefully we will get a new one over the next couple of weeks and then we will be able to get out more. Hi everyone. I’m a day late getting my project 365 online this week as yesterday Boo had an inset day so we went shopping for the day and had a lovely girlie day together. It’s lovely now they are at different schools again so I’ll get the odd day to spend with them on their own. Bugs has to wait until the 5th of November for his first inset day so he wasn’t too happy that he had to go to school yesterday when Boo didn’t. Read more
