October 2018 in a Minute

Month in a Minute

October was a really busy month – both in real life and on the blog, you might have noticed that I took part in Blogtober. Blogtober is where you write a blog post for every single day of October. I managed to do it and really enjoyed it. Boo turned 12, Liam turned 22 and James also had his birthday so we had a month full of celebrations which was really lovely. We also got a new car which enabled us to get out and about more. I’m really looking forward to seeing what November has in store for us but for now here is our October in a minute…

#Blogtober18 Day 7 – September 2018 in a Minute

Blogtober18/ Month in a Minute

Today’s prompt for #Blogtober18 is Gross Motor Skills for Dyspraxia Awareness Week but seeing as I haven’t heard of this a condition before I haven’t really got that much to say about it. So I’ll share the link to the Dyspraxia Foundation website so you can read all about it. I’ve shared some of their posts over on Twitter too because I don’t want to read and ignore. I like to bring awareness to different conditions and charities wherever I can.

July 2018 in a Minute

Month in a Minute

Finally I got round to putting July’s month in a minute video together yesterday, I was putting off doing it as it felt like we really didn’t do a lot in July but looking back it was hard to narrow down the photos and videos that I wanted to use. So my video is actually closer to a minute and a half! July was full of end of school stuff. Boo finished junior school and is really looking forward to starting secondary school in September! We will be back at the beginning of September to share what we have been getting up to in August but for now here is our July… Read more

June 2018 in a Minute

Month in a Minute

I’m not very organised at the moment so I’m a bit late putting up June’s month in a minute video. We were away for the last week of June so I have had such a lot to catch up on since we got back and it’s the last few weeks at school which is just crazy busy! June was an amazing month, we had a week in North Devon and it was just glorious! It’s a shame a week goes by far too quickly though, we could definitely done with two weeks! Read more

May 2018 in a Minute

Month in a Minute

Wow I can’t actually believe it is the 1st of June already!! May has flown by in the blink of an eye but we have been so busy exploring and having fun. We’ve been on helicopter flights, theme parks and  explored the local area, Boo got her SATs out of the way and I started the 100 happy days project to try and get a bit more positive in my life. I’m hoping June is going to be just as much fun. Read more

April 2018 in a Minute

Month in a Minute

April has been an incredibly busy month for us, we have had something planned every weekend and apart from Bugs problems at school it has been wonderful. I went to the Gin Festival with Liam, I went to one of my oldest bestest friend’s 40th birthday party who I haven’t seen in at least 15 years. I spent the weekend away with 50 or so bloggers at The Retreat which you can read about here and I’ve seen loads and loads of gorgeous little baby lambs which has made me incredibly happy 🙂 This is our April in just over a minute…. March 2018 in a Minute

Month in a Minute

March wasn’t exactly the month I was hoping it to be. I was expecting spring to arrive but it was more like winter with all the snow and freezing conditions we had. When it wasn’t snowing it was raining so it was pretty miserable but we made the most of it. Bugs and I spent lots of the evenings running as he did a 25km challenge during March to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. He set out to raise £100 but he raised over £160 so he did really well considering the weather was really crap. The kids had fun dressing up for World Book Day and I spent a wonderful Mothering Sunday with all my three kids at home. Read more
